Does magnetism have weight? Or if thats the wrong question..does magnetic fields add weight based on how many are interacting or something like that??? Thank you

As an amateur solar astronomer for over twenty years now, [ after starting as only a simple nighttime astronomer at my early adolescence, buying a substantial telescope with my owned earned money,] I never thought I'd reach the day about 20 years ago when I first observed through a solar h-alpha telescope, that my astronomy club had set up for the public in front of the local Science Museum here in Portland Oregon. I eventually became the custodian to operate that telescope for the public, as I took it on a 10,000 mile solo road trip across America in 2000, allowing thousands of people to view the sun through it. I recorded their responses in over a hundred hours of audio, then added an appropriate and relative slideshow to this audio-video, edited down to the best 15 minutes of excerpts, and put it up in my YouTube channel some years ago. I wonder when there are photos like this shown on the web or a video like this, how many people in the comments column have actually observed the sun through one of these special solar instruments; or better yet, how many have observed and made detailed technical pastel sketches that they've observed through the eyepiece, as mine were featured in the NASA Spaceweather site many times, displayed on their front pages by the NASA physicist Dr. Tony Phillips. These special solar telescopes are actually used around the world by many amateur astronomers now, as they are not just in orbit around the Earth on NASA satellites. Many amateur astronomers make technical observations and technical sketches from what they observe in the eyepiece while others take photographs with high grade digital cameras now, able to almost match what NASA can do. Much of the general public would be surprised to see what amateur astronomers are doing today, as they have actually surpassed what used to be professional levels of astronomy photography and artwork. The opening frames within the first minute of this video show that beautiful dark red-orange image, and that's actually what you see live in the solar hydrogen alpha filtered [h-alpha] telescope that many amateur astronomer have today. It's spectacular to watch this live in real time, but the images seem to be dead still when you're viewing live, as they don't flutter and blow off moving flame-like structures as it appears here. [*This video above is a sped up time-lapse you're watching here,] but while observing live you can see some very slight movement if you keep your eye on the sun's disk through the telescope for a period of time, say up to a few minutes, when major activity is occurring. When there is a very large explosive flare you can see a turmoil of white forming around a sunspot group like a huge white tornado starting to evolve and slowly moving off the surface. It's absolutely mind-boggling to watch this when it happens. I've seen flares evolving off the surface that have exploded out huge hydrogen edge prominences over twice the diameter of the sun's disk, while allowing the public to watch this with me through our clubs h-alha telescope, while on the road trip across the nation in 2000. You can look at my Facebook site and see the images of the telescope that was in use with the public standing around observing through it, in a Facebook album titled 'Mark Seibold Provides Public Sidewalk Solar Astronomy for Over Two Decades'. Also see the headline video in Mark Seibold YouTube Channel.

A coming mini ice age seems to be gaining traction in scientific circles. If it happens does that mean we will be able to sue the geoengineers for causing it, the same way the oil companies are being sued for causing global warming?

I don't think there is such a thing as dark matter. I think they simply just underestimate the power of electromagnetism.

The Carrington event is a hoax. There were no lines on fire or operators fried. Carrington was a solar scientist but encyclopedia Britannia all the way back to volume 2 say nothing. It appears in 2010 snd it's UN propaganda, fear porn.
Adopt Colorado (1 month ago)
+catherine macdonald harry hubbard has every one except volume 1 and he takes you thru them all showing you exactly what he sees. They mention Carrington and a solar flare but do not mention of any catastrophe. An underwater cable from America to UK was severed but it wasn't from this made up event. It's globalist fear porn just like global warming. In the 70's it was global cooling. It's a U.N. joke.
catherine macdonald (1 month ago)
+Adopt Colorado...I remember learning about it when I was a young girl in private school, back in the 1950's & '60s. Do you really think that the Encyclopedia Britannica has ALL the information available online it has ever published since its founding in 1768?! Perhaps the 'propaganda' is in the lack of information you are getting there.
Adopt Colorado (1 month ago)
+Suspicious0bservers there was a solar flare. But nothing like they claim ever happened. Carrington was a solar scientist and registered a solar flare. The rest is propaganda.

You must be new... Check the links in the description box above. All content is linked to sources and we 0bservers are required to practice our due diligence. We get the benefit of Ben's which, is considerable! You're probably not used to credible sources. That's one of the important measures of credibility, without which, info online is a crap shoot. Also applies to MSM news and propaganda... You can disagree with Ben or me but to do so like a bull in a China shop, just makes you look bad. This is 8 years of critical watching and participating speaking, BTW... We all want to understand reality in a culture embedded with bullshit. Credibility and evidence, Assess those effectively? And your job gets far more easy. Ben doesn't want you to believe that what he says is "The real truth!" He wants us all to learn to see it on our own, by observing his example. That's why he is successful. Along with being honest, credible, sincere and proficient in learning thru researching. Had you been here since 2011-2012? You would know this but it's not too late to benefit from it. And there's about 3500 videos and multiple websites of his to help. ✌

It was interesting to watch that sun spot since it came onto the disk. The polarities were stacked on each other North to South in relation to the equator. It wasn't numbered then either. As it grew and was numbered, the polarities rotated East to West, parallel to the equator. I called a friend on Wed morning and in conversation said' "Watch this spot. It was the first one in 33 days. I think its going to do something."

I wonder how much this CME was influenced by yesterday’s wacky eclipse.
SC 25 (1 month ago)
We'll it could have had a little something to do with the new moon coming into phase but I agree nothing to do with the moon eclipsing the sati ; looked like some planetary geometry had a hand in the equation of that sunspots rapid formation as well. Mercury is a amazing little planet (moon) which oddly enough looks a awful lot like earths moon & as Rodney Dangerfield use to famously say gets no respect ;)

I saw on the news that there is a paper that says that the extra matter is just the opposite of dark matter, LIGHT. All that light out there. Can you believe somebody said something like that??? well, of course this guy just retired, and had some support from German scientists. The thing to watch is the drop off in neutrino counts. If you look at the chart, it is easy to pick out the major volcano eruptions with a drop off in neutrinos. Especially, Mt.Pinatubo. The count was high for awhile then it slide off and at the deepest point, on the same day, Pinatubo went off. Smaller events like El Chichon and Mt. St. Helene's is there as well. The deeper the drop off, the more explosive the event. I have no causation on this, just an observation. How many Joules is this solar eruption? Is it equal to all the uptake of the oceans in a year? Time related, that's some high powered amperage coming in. I think micro nova's explain a lot. That's the best idea that's come out in awhile. Now the arguing can start, not whether micro nova's happen, but the results.

It appears that lies are the currency of science as well as the currency of politics. Can we say therefore that lying is a science, or that politics is lies? Eyes open indeed! The scientific mind has no use for fear. Politics, however, uses fear as a means to reach its ends. Beware=be aware.

Good morning gratitudes and best wishes for the day. Great reports, Ben. The Magellanic star does look like it could very well be experiencing a recurring nova. Wallace Broeker, the 'grandfather of global warming' concensus science recently died. I had to find the article - https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/grandfather-climate-science-leaves-final-warning-earth-n978426 He was put on a pedestal by colleagues - even by those who don't like the popular idea to spray massive amounts of sulfur dioxide 70,000 ft up in the atmosphere to copy a huge volcano eruptions, in order to block the sun. It's totally stupid and detrimental to photosynthesis and other processes on earth to begin with, not to mention a death wish if a real volcano explodes like Pinitubo.

March finally arrived here in Albuquerque yesterday. We had a cloudy early morning, but as the sun strengthened, the clouds began to break and one could see those clouds were being shredded by predicted higher winds. While the official high temp reached 70F, we had early afternoon winds of +30mph and gusts to nearly 50mph. I had to go out in it early, but got to see in the distance the big clouds of sand and dust and felt a "Chicago effect" (without a lake) as the winds funneled through some big buildings here downtown. This is typical for March, it's just taken a while to happen! This morning at 6:08am we have 37F under cloudy skies with no wind. We expect it to remain cloudy, with a high of 69F and another windy afternoon. There is a small chance of rain tonight. The weekend will be a bit cooler and a lot calmer. We are still expecting a lot of rain next week, but that's okay, we can use it 😊
