Creating a Thesis Statement (Character Analysis Essay)

10:00
Students need to select a story and character. They then need to think about the character and what they want to say about that character in a thesis statement. Once the thesis statement is written, an introduction needs to be written. That's all for now! The Genius Of Eren Jaeger's Character

29:19
I felt obligated to make this video after the recent developments of Eren Jeager and his incredible character arc in Attack on Titan. Like many, I initially had no interest in his character for the first half of the series, but he's recently propelled into one of, if not the most, interesting and morally questionable characters in the series. Inspired by the brilliant character breakdown from u/kemorsky on reddit, please check his post out: https://www.reddit.com/r/ShingekiNoKyojin/comments/7544m8/manga_spoilers_character_breakdown_eren_jaeger/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/SoulMadnessYT

Why Cobra Kai Is A Great Karate Kid Sequel - Video Essay/Analysis

05:06
To everyone's surprise, Cobra Kai is a great Karate Kid Sequel, and here's why that is. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s, you’ve most likely watched The Karate Kid. Ever since it was released back in 1984 it’s been a staple in pop culture, and hasn’t lost its relevance, impact, or importance after all of these years. The phrase wax on wax off is well known and iconic, the crane kick is memorable, and the characters of Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Miyagi have always, and always will be, relatable and beloved. There’s a reason why we got three sequels and a reboot in 2010 starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, but none of them hold a candle to the original and it’s always been difficult to retain that same magic from the first film. Which is why many were worried about the Cobra Kai series, which takes place three decades after The Karate Kid and features Johnny Lawrence and Danny all grown up. But to everyone’s surprise, it works, and then some.

Like Pale Gold - The Great Gatsby Part I: Crash Course English Literature #4

11:43
In which John Green explores F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the Jazz Age, The Great Gatsby. John introduces you to Nick Carraway, Jay Gatsby, Daisy and Tom Buchanan, and the other characters in the novel, and tries to look beyond the surface story to figure out what this thing is ABOUT. Set in the 1920's against a conflicted backdrop of prohibition and excess, The Great Gatsby takes a close look at the American Dream as it existed in Fitzgerald's time. It turns out, it had a lot to do with money and status, and it still does today. John will cover the rich symbolism of the novel, from the distant green light to the pale gold of wealth and decay. Also, Paris Hilton drops by. Turn on the captions. You'll like it.
