What is CASH VALUE? What does CASH VALUE mean? CASH VALUE meaning, definition & explanation

What is CASH VALUE? What does CASH VALUE mean? CASH VALUE meaning - CASH VALUE definition - CASH VALUE explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. The cash value of an insurance contract, also called the cash surrender value or surrender value, is the cash amount offered to the policyowner by the issuing life carrier upon cancellation of the contract. This term is normally used with a life insurance or life annuity contract. To receive the cash value, the policyholder surrenders their rights to future benefits under the policy. Cash values are usually associated with whole life insurance or endowment life insurance and other forms of permanent life insurance. The contract determines for each possible cancellation date the related cash value. If the investment of premiums is contractually made in an individual account, the cash value is the value of the investments in that account at any particular time minus a surrender charge. Such cash value credited to an individual account during the tenure of the policy keeps growing with every payment of premium. It also increments due to interest credited. The policyholder may also be able to use the cash value as collateral on a loan. The cash value will often be similar or even equal to the reserve to be held by the insurance company for the net obligations from the contract. As such, the amount is usually invested and earns investment income for the insurance company which is to some extent forwarded to policyholders of participating contracts. Since often initial premiums are not invested but covering initial costs associated with selling the contract (up front or front-end fee), the amount available may be significantly lower than the sum of premiums paid for some time, initially even zero. Later, interest credited might compensate that initial loss. The value of the investment is often subject to a surrender charge in determining the cash value. A surrender charge offsets the costs associated with selling the contract and allows these contracts to be sold with little or no up front fees. Surrender charges are imposed when a contract is cancelled within a set time frame. Any cancellation after that time frame are not subject to a surrender charge. Typically surrender charges decrease on an annual schedule until they disappear altogether. The determination of the cash value, both the base amount and the applicable surrender charge, in the contract can be explicit by determining the value for each surrender date (guaranteed cash values), by referring to the value of specific investments or subject to the discretion of the insurance company, which is often executed to bring cash values in line with values of the investments of the insurance company. Guaranteed cash values can result in significant risks for the insurance company, if the guarantee exceeds the economic value of policyholders' rights under the contract and the value of reserves hold.

Why K stands for 1000?What does k means in money,Refreshing news for you.CHAMBz BANG

01:29
क्यों कहा जाता है 1000 को K ? What does k means in texting? What does k means? What does 1k means in money? What does 1k means? K comes form the Greek kilo which means a thousand. In the metric system lower case k designates kilo as in kg for kilogram, a thousand grams. Even here there is some ambiguity. In the language of computer science K is 210 = 1024. The simple answer is that Kilogram means Thousand. The more complex answers is that the French took the Greek word for thousand "Chilioi" and shortened it to "Kilo" and then made new words like Kiloliter, Kiliwatt, Kilogram, Kilotonne, etc. The abbreviation KG for Kilo references Kilograms and means 1000 grams. The letter "K" is used to represent 1000, because it represents the prefix "kilo," which means 1000 of something in the metric system. For instance, kilogram means 1000 CHAMBzBANG,chambzbang, chambz bang,CHAMBz BANG, #K1000 #CHAMBzBANG

What is REPRESENTATIVE MONEY? What does REPRESENTATIVE MONEY mean? REPRESENTATIVE MONEY meaning

What is REPRESENTATIVE MONEY? What does REPRESENTATIVE MONEY mean? REPRESENTATIVE MONEY meaning - REPRESENTATIVE MONEY definition - REPRESENTATIVE MONEY explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Representative money, in all simplicity, is any medium of exchange that represents something of value, but has little or no value of its own. Unlike fiat money (which may or may not have anything of value backing it), to be a genuine representative money, there must always be something valuable supporting the face value represented. More specifically, the term representative money has been used variously to mean: A claim on a commodity, for example gold certificates or silver certificates. In this sense it may be called "commodity-backed money". Any type of money that has face value greater than its value as material substance. Used in this sense, fiat money is a type of representative money. Historically, the use of representative money predates the invention of coinage. In the ancient empires of Egypt, Babylon, India and China, the temples and palaces often had commodity warehouses which issued certificates of deposit as evidence of a claim upon a portion of the goods stored in the warehouses, a form of "representative money". According to economist William Stanley Jevons (1875), representative money arose because metal coins often were "variously clipped or depreciated" during use, but using representations for the value stored in banks ensured its worth. He noted that paper and other materials have been used as representative money. In 1895 economist Joseph Shield Nicholson wrote that credit expansion and contraction was in fact the expansion and contractions of representative money. In 1934 economist William Howard Steiner wrote that the term was used "at one time to signify that a certain amount of bullion was stored in the Treasury while the equivalent paper in circulation" represented the bullion.

Doug Levinson takes a trip into the United States Federal Reserve, examining how the people who work there aim to balance the value of the dollar to prevent inflation or deflation. What Matters Most in Life?

05:28
What is the most important thing in life? Money? Happiness? Love? Those things are certainly important, but what matters most is good values. What are values? They are what we consider more important than our feelings. For instance, just about everyone feels like eating junk food, but if you eat whatever you feel like eating you will end up obese and unhealthy. So then, what stops people from eating all the food they feel like eating? The answer is good values. Indeed a lack of good values is the root of virtually everything wrong with the world. In five minutes, learn why we should act based on values rather than our feelings. Donate today to PragerU! http://l.prageru.com/2ylo1Yt Joining PragerU is free! For Students: http://l.prageru.com/29SgPaX JOIN our Educators Network! http://l.prageru.com/2c8vsff Script: I'm going to talk to you about the most important thing you will ever have. Now try to guess what that might be. For example, is it money? Well it's certainly better to have money than not to, but it's definitely not the most important thing you can have -- just ask all the rich people who are very unhappy -- or, even better, read about most of the people who have won tens of millions of dollars in a lottery. Most of these people actually became less happy, not more. So alright, then, what about love -- is that the most important thing you could ever have? Well, love sure is important. I can't imagine living without it. I sure treasure the love of my friends and the love of my family, but if you don't have the thing I'm about to tell you, you won't receive much love at all. So, let's try a third answer: happiness. Well, that, too, is very, very important. Who wants to be unhappy? But again, without the thing I will tell you about, there would be little happiness in the world. So, here goes -- the most important thing you will ever have is -- drumroll please -- good values. Yes, good values. Now I know that may sound boring and I realize that it's possible that you may have never really thought about values or even know what I'm talking about. So, let me explain. A value is something you think is more important than anything else -- more important than money, more important even than love, and even more important than happiness. And above all, values are what you consider to be more important than your feelings. This is very hard for a lot of people to believe because we live in a time when people think that how they feel about something is more important than anything else, but that isn't so. Here's a simple example of the conflict between a feeling and a value. Just about everyone feels like eating junk food, but there's a big problem here. If you eat whatever you feel like eating you will end up obese and unhealthy. So then, what is it that stops people from eating all the food they feel like eating? The answer is a value -- that's right, a value. And what is that value? Not getting obese and staying healthy. There is, in other words, a necessary battle that goes on inside of most people: the battle between what they feel--in this case the desire to eat junk food -- and a value that they hold -- in this case staying healthy and looking good. Now as important as a healthy body is, this conflict between what we feel like doing and values, is even more important when it comes to doing what is right, when it comes to how we treat other people, not just ourselves. What is DEMAND FOR MONEY? What does DEMAND FOR MONEY mean? DEMAND FOR MONEY meaning

What is DEMAND FOR MONEY? What does DEMAND FOR MONEY mean? DEMAND FOR MONEY meaning - DEMAND FOR MONEY definition - DEMAND FOR MONEY explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. The demand for money is the desired holding of financial assets in the form of money: that is, cash or bank deposits. It can refer to the demand for money narrowly defined as M1 (non-interest-bearing holdings), or for money in the broader sense of M2 or M3. Money in the sense of M1 is dominated as a store of value by interest-bearing assets. However, money is necessary to carry out transactions; in other words, it provides liquidity. This creates a trade-off between the liquidity advantage of holding money and the interest advantage of holding other assets. The demand for money is a result of this trade-off regarding the form in which a person's wealth should be held. In macroeconomics motivations for holding one's wealth in the form of money can roughly be divided into the transaction motive and the asset motive. These can be further subdivided into more microeconomically founded motivations for holding money. Generally, the nominal demand for money increases with the level of nominal output (price level times real output) and decreases with the nominal interest rate. The real demand for money is defined as the nominal amount of money demanded divided by the price level. For a given money supply the locus of income-interest rate pairs at which money demand equals money supply is known as the LM curve. The magnitude of the volatility of money demand has crucial implications for the optimal way in which a central bank should carry out monetary policy and its choice of a nominal anchor. Conditions under which the LM curve is flat, so that increases in the money supply have no stimulatory effect (a liquidity trap), play an important role in Keynesian theory. This situation occurs when the demand for money is infinitely elastic with respect to the interest rate.

Ever wondered about those “We Buy Houses - Fast Cash!” signs?

10:17
Ever wondered about those “We Buy Houses Fast Cash” signs stapled to telephone poles? Well wonder no longer, this is what they are and why people post them - enjoy! Add me on Instagram / Snapchat: GPStephan Join the private Real Estate Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/therealestatemillionairemastermind/ The Real Estate Agent Academy: Learn how to start and grow your career as a Real Estate Agent to a Six-Figure Income, how to best build your network of clients, expand into luxury markets, and the exact steps I’ve used to grow my business from $0 to over $120 million in sales: https://goo.gl/UFpi4c So lets start here: the purpose of these signs is to attract people who NEED to sell, and NEED to sell fast - often in less desirable, or up-and-coming areas, and often at a discount to market value. These signs are also called Bandit Signs. These areas are more likely to find distressed sellers who donʼt have the luxury of waiting around for an offer, canʼt come up with cash to perform any repairs, or might only be weeks away from losing the property to the bank - and they NEED to sell ASAP and take a loss from what they could otherwise get in any other scenario. The purpose of the signs is to attract sellers who are desperate to sell, and don’t mind taking a discount to sell quickly. But whoʼs on the other side of the deal, whoʼs the one actually buying these properties? These are the three types of people: First, the wholesaler. They will evaluate the property and negotiate a price to buy the home, usually with an assignment clause, allowing them to transfer the deal - and the price - to someone else, for a higher price than they’re in contract for. This gives them the OPTION to buy that home at the pre agreed upon price, and then they can ASSIGN that deal to someone else for a profit. The second type of person buying these properties are simply individual investors. These are people, like me, whoʼd like to cut out the middle man and cut out the competition. They place these signs to buy properties directly from the home owner, saving them time, commission, and hassle of selling and listing the property. The homeowner will sell the property less because they have the convenience of not dealing with a formally-listed sale, they donʼt have to pay 5%-6% fees to a Realtor, and the investor can save on all of those costs by making the sale as timely and efficient as possible. And the third type of person posting those “We buy houses” signs are larger companies who typically give a quick close, cash offer - these are the most efficient of the ads. They can typically give a hard offer within 24-48 hours and close within a week or two. In exchange for this, theyʼll typically want a discount of 10-40% from market price. Once they buy the property, theyʼll do a quick renovation and put it back on the market for a profit. Rinse and repeat. These companies are often well-oiled machines when it comes to finding properties and making offers, and their “WE BUY HOMES CASH” signs are a very high ROI investment to getting motivated seller leads. And that is exactly why you see “WE BUY HOMES CASH” signs posted around neighborhoods. Buy Inexpensive Budget Knives - Best Value For Money Knife Review - Cheap, Good Quality Lock Knives

08:31
In this knife review I ask why buy inexpensive budget knives - are they good value for money and what makes cheap, good quality lock knives a sensible investment. In this locking knife review I give my opinions on value for money, budget range knives and look at four inexpensive locking knives that are manufactured in China. In response to 'cheap knives are crap', I give my reasons why that statement is so much rubbish. With so many high end, branded knife manufactures offering a range of their knives in the budget sector, yet still being name branded but made in China, I see no problem with the unbranded models. These cheaper pocket knives are ideal for EDC and survival and perform as good as their far more expensive rivals. These budget EDC knives offer great value for money with superb build quality. A folding knife is ideal everyday carry and my knife review shows they are more than capable of that. A cheap lock knife does not mean cheap materials or build quality. In fact most budget knives are very good quality and offer great value for money. Essentially any knife is a good knife in a survival situation, and inexpensive, budget range knives certasinly perform very well when pitched against over priced branded knives. The lock knives I show here are not full on survival or hunting knives and, so long as you treat them as such, will last and perform very well. Build quality is good and the materials used stack up against any other comparable knife, so simply being branded as a budget, inexpensive or value for money knife can sometimes be missleading. The knives I compare are a Ganzo, Brother and and Enlan, all lockers, one with a liner lock, the others with an axis lock. I also have separate reviews of each here: Ganzo G7392: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhA3cVPCE_g Enlan EL-02: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ws1NODm7gY Ganzo G729: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN8CsTkwZRg Brother 1601: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHO7uArhfP8 To buy any of these knives direct from manufactures ~ here's the links: prices as of: December 2016 - Ganzo G7392 ~ £14 http://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_397090.html?lkid=10215013 Enlan EL-02 ~ £11 http://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_254454.html?wid=21&lkid=10133418 Ganzo G729 ~ £14 http://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_267528.html?wid=21&lkid=10123441 Brother 1601 ~ £15 http://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_354979.html?lkid=10210651 Whether you agree with me or not, please leave a comment below. What does REVIEW mean? REVIEW meaning - REVIEW pronunciation - REVIEW definition - REVIEW explanation - How to pronounce REVIEW? Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. A review is an evaluation of a publication, service, or company such as a movie (a movie review), video game (video game review), musical composition (music review of a composition or recording), book (book review); a piece of hardware like a car, home appliance, or computer; or an event or performance, such as a live music concert, play, musical theater show, dance show, or art exhibition. In addition to a critical evaluation, the review's author may assign the work a rating to indicate its relative merit. More loosely, an author may review current events, trends, or items in the news. A compilation of reviews may itself be called a review. The New York Review of Books, for instance, is a collection of essays on literature, culture, and current affairs. National Review, founded by William F. Buckley, Jr., is an influential conservative magazine, and Monthly Review is a long-running socialist periodical. A peer review is the process by which scholars or scientists assess the work of their colleagues that has been submitted for publication in the scientific or scholarly literature. In the scientific literature, review articles are a category of scientific or scholarly paper, which provides a synthesis of research on a topic at that moment in time. A compilation of these reviews forms the core content of review journals. Beyond review articles in review journals, a review may be found in an encyclopedia or a critical book review. In computer programming and the software development process, a software review may be used. A user review refers to a review written by a user or consumer for a product or a service based on her experience as a user of the reviewed product. Popular sources for consumer reviews are e-commerce sites like Amazon or Zappos, and social media sites like TripAdvisor and Yelp. E-commerce sites often have consumer reviews for products and sellers separately. Usually, consumer reviews are in the form of several lines of texts accompanied by a numerical rating. This text is meant to aid in shopping decision of a prospective buyer. A consumer review of a product usually comments on how well the product measures up to expectations based on the specifications provided by the manufacturer or seller. It talks about performance, reliability, quality defects, if any, and value for money. Consumer review, also called 'word of mouth' and 'user generated content' differs from 'marketer generated content' in its evaluation from consumer or user point of view. Often it includes comparative evaluations against competing products. Observations are factual as well as subjective in nature. Consumer review of sellers usually comment on service experienced, and dependability or trustworthiness of the seller. Usually, it comments on factors such as timeliness of delivery, packaging and correctness of delivered items, shipping charges, return services against promises made, and so on. Consumer reviews online have become a major factor in business reputation and brand image due to the popularity of TripAdvisor, Yelp and online review websites. A negative review can damage the reputation of a business and this has created a new industry of reputation management where companies attempt to remove or hide bad reviews so that more favourable content is found when potential customers do research. An expert review usually refers to a review written by someone who has tested several peer products or services to identify which offers the best value for money or the best set of features. A bought review is the system where the creator (usually a company) of a new product pays a reviewer to review his new product.

What is COMMODITY MONEY? What does COMMODITY MONEY mean? COMMODITY MONEY meaning & explanation

06:02
BROWSE The Internet EASY way with The Audiopedia owned Lightina Browser Android app. INSTALL NOW - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.LightinaBrowser_8083351 What is COMMODITY MONEY? What does COMMODITY MONEY mean? COMMODITY MONEY meaning - COMMODITY MONEY definition - COMMODITY MONEY explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Commodity money is money whose value comes from a commodity of which it is made. Commodity money consists of objects that have value in themselves (intrinsic value) as well as value in their use as money. Example of commodities that have been used as mediums of exchange include gold, silver, copper, salt, peppercorns, tea, large stones (such as Rai stones), decorated belts, shells, alcohol, cigarettes, cannabis, silk, candy, nails, cocoa beans, cowries and barley. These items were sometimes used in a metric of perceived value in conjunction to one another, in various commodity valuation or price system economies. Commodity money is to be distinguished from representative money which is a certificate or token which can be exchanged for the underlying commodity, but only as the trade is good for that source and the product. A key feature of commodity money is that the value is directly perceived by the users of this money, who recognize the utility or beauty of the tokens as they would recognize the goods themselves. That is, the effect of holding a token for a barrel of oil must be the same economically as actually having the barrel at hand. This thinking guides the modern commodity markets, although they use a sophisticated range of financial instruments that are more than one-to-one representations of units of a given type of commodity. Since payment by commodity generally provides a useful good, commodity money is similar to barter, but is distinguishable from it in having a single recognized unit of exchange. (Radford 1945) described the establishment of commodity money in P.O.W camps. People left their surplus clothing, toilet requisites and food there until they were sold at a fixed price in cigarettes. Only sales in cigarettes were accepted – there was no barter Of food, the shop carried small stocks for convenience; the capital was provided by a loan from the bulk store of Red Cross cigarettes and repaid by a small commission taken on the first transactions. Thus the cigarette attained its fullest currency status, and the market was almost completely unified. Radford documented the way that this 'cigarette currency' was subject to Gresham's law, inflation, and especially deflation. In another example, in US prisons, after smoking was banned circa 2003, commodity money has switched in many places to cans or foil pouches of mackerel fish fillets, which have a fairly standard cost and are easy to store. These may be exchanged for many services in prisons where personal possession of currency is prohibited. In situations where the commodity is metal, typically gold or silver, a government mint will often coin money by placing a mark on the metal that serves as a guarantee of the weight and purity of the metal. In doing so, the government will often impose a fee which is known as seigniorage. The role of a mint and of coin differs between commodity money and fiat money. In situations where there is commodity money, the coin retains its value if it is melted and physically altered, while in a fiat money it does not. Usually in a fiat money the value drops if the coin is converted to metal, but in a few cases the value of metals in fiat moneys have been allowed to rise to values larger than the face value of the coin. In India, for example fiat Rupees disappeared from the market after 2007 when their content of stainless steel became larger than the fiat or face value of the coins. In the US, the metal in pennies (97.5% zinc since 1982, 95% copper in 1982 and before) and nickels (75% copper, 25% nickel) has a value close to, and sometimes exceeding, the fiat face value of the coin. Although some commodity money (barley) has been used historically in relations of trade and barter (Mesopotamia circa 3000 BC), it can be inconvenient to use as a medium of exchange or a standard of deferred payment due to transport and storage concerns, and eventual rancidity. Gold or other metals are sometimes used in a price system as a store of perceived value that does not break down due to environmental deterioration and that can be easily stored (demurrage).....

Offering value for money does not mean being the cheapest! Increase your prices and profits now!

03:17
Offering value for money is vitally important in this business. If you have an awesome property in a great location, finished to a high standard and you provide fantastic customer service then you can charge a high price which people will be happy to pay because it is good value! If you are offering a property/service lacking in these things then your price HAS to reflect that or people will feel ripped off and your reviews will suffer. Yes a better finish or a bigger/better apartment costs more but you make your money back because you can charge higher prices! In the example prices I quoted in the video, a difference of £55 p/n results in over £20k difference in income over the year (If 365 nights sell for those exact prices) Let me know what you think in the comments!

I feel that in 2019 we should be getting a higher level of components and more value for money, and in all honesty I don’t feel as though this happens. Companies seem to re-release the same trucks with different bodies or slight changes and still charge a high premium, even RC Sparks has commented on the quality of some of the trucks he has received which are brand new from suppliers. It seems as though it’s becoming acceptable to buy an RC which effectively isn’t suitable for the task at hand unless you add modifications straight away, which shouldn’t be the case. From underpowered and unsuitable servos, to weak transmission gears which love to explode, through to brittle plastic and poor metal compound mixtures, and electronics which aren’t up to the job, you have to ask yourself a question...”Is this an upgrade, or am I fixing what the manufacturer should have done themselves?” I would love to hear your opinions on this matter. People only talk about the newest RCs and gadgets, and seem to never address the elephant in the room, which is the the lack of value for money consumers receive. How many boxes of brand new worthless parts do you have sitting around which may as well be thrown in the bin? I love all of my RCs in different ways as each one brings a smile to my face and brings huge levels of enjoyment, I just wish value for money was better. With everything becoming more expensive I think that with the way the industry is going, it won’t be long until the hobby becomes such a niche in the market that it may become too expensive and out of reach for most people. Water Softener Prices & Comparisons In Ireland: Which Water Softeners To Buy!

07:26
What are the best water softeners to buy in Ireland? Compare prices and the quality of water softeners in Ireland. http://TheWaterTreatmentCentre.ie/testkit.html 1890 946 333 or 057 93 33942 [email protected] Buying a water softener is somewhat like buying a car. It uses salt like a car uses fuel. It needs service like a car needs service. Make sure you choose a good quality water softener with low running costs as well as a good price. Warranties should be in writing and checked to ensure they are free and genuine. The average price for a water softener in Ireland is approximately €900 including installation. You will come across a handful of water softeners in Ireland for more than that, and a handful for less than that. The market is broken into three sections. High End premium water softeners, mid- range water softeners and low end water softeners. The first range, the high end premium brands like Ecowater, where the complete water softener is manufactured, assembled and tested and packaged, by the manufacturer and arrives to you in a box like your washing machine with the warranty direct from the manufacturer. Digital, smart technology, low running costs using a bag of salt on average every 6-8 weeks costing approximately €48 per year to run and with a manufacturers' warranty of up to 15 years on parts and labour. The warranty is free and not subject to annual service fee. These are the best value water softeners on the market. The second and third range in the water softener market today are assembled water softeners where various parts are purchased from various manufacturers and put together by a local company in Ireland. This means that they have not been manufactured or tested by one single manufacturer. It means your warranty is from various manufacturers of various parts. This can become complicated when you need to use your warranty. There is a difference between the mid- range and low end range of water softeners even though they are both assembled. The manufacturers of the various parts are of higher quality in the mid-range of water softeners with the finished product being of good standard. The water softeners are available in timed or metered, reasonable running costs using a bag of salt every 4-6 weeks costing approximately €96 per year to run with warranty of 5 years on parts only. The warranty is free and not subject to an annual service fee. The low end range of water softeners use various valves generally cheaper copies of other valves normally electro mechanical. They also use lower grade cheaper copy parts for the rest of the water softener. Some using flimsy plastic, tanks that leak and burst. They are then assembled by a local company in Ireland. Cutting back on quality means cheaper prices but it does not mean the best value for money as running costs are higher using a bag of salt every 2-4 weeks and a warranty that is subject to an annual service fee makes this system the most expensive water softener to run. All of this information is based on testing of systems and market research completed by The Water Treatment Centre. In summary, the price you pay for the water softener is only one price. The running costs of the water softener are the second part of the price. Quality water softeners cost a little more to buy but a lot less to run meaning they are actually the cheapest option as well as giving great performance. That is value for money. Make sure you get a great water softener that saves money and does not cost you money. We have spent years researching makes and models of water softeners in Ireland and continue to do so every day. We supply quality products at reasonable prices giving customers not just any old product, but quality products that are value for money. We supply the best water softeners Ireland has to offer and the best after care service in water treatment in Ireland. With water softeners fitted across Ireland from County Offaly, Meath, Dublin, Louth, Laois, Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cavan and Westmeath we have customers in your area who have experienced the quality of our water softeners and our after care service. What is COMMODITY VALUE? What does COMMODITY VALUE mean? COMMODITY VALUE meaning & explanation

What is COMMODITY VALUE? What does COMMODITY VALUE mean? COMMODITY VALUE meaning - COMMODITY VALUE definition - COMMODITY VALUE explanation. What is COMMODITY VALUE? What does COMMODITY VALUE mean? COMMODITY VALUE meaning & explanation Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ In the field of economics, the commodity value of a good is its free market intrinsic value under optimal use conditions. In a free market, the commodity value of a good will be reflected by its price. For example, if an acre of land can yield a net of 100 dollars loss by lying fallow, 50 dollars gain by being planted with corn, and 100 dollars gain by being planted with wheat, then that acre's commodity value is 100 dollars; the farmer is assumed to put his land to best use. The price of a commodity fluctuates around its commodity value. A commodity value expressed as a price is determined by historical, social and cultural aspects of production and distribution. Karl Marx described price as the money-name for the labour realised in a commodity. A commodity value is dependent on its utility. Commodity value is of particular significance in the study of currency. For example, the commodity value of a coin is the value of the metal of which it is made. Gold and silver coins have a high commodity value, whereas fiat coins such as modern day quarters have a low commodity value. This is of particular historical relevance when analyzed in light of Gresham's Law. Because money becomes valuable not due to its substance, that is, its commodity value, but rather because of its performance, currencies tend to become token. Asset backed debt has a commodity value equal to the price of the collateral; a loan backed by a house has a commodity value equal to the free market price of the house. Non-collateralized debt, on the other hand, does not have a commodity value; it is valuable only insofar as it is repaid. Commodity value is an important consideration in hedging against inflation. Whereas fiat currencies can devalue, often catastrophically, currencies with considerable commodity value are known to better maintain their value; a government can print as many fiat bills as it wants with relative ease, the same is not true of mining precious metals. This leads some investors to purchase goods and debts with high commodity value, which are inherently safer than those with low, or no commodity value, minimizing risk by sacrificing potential return.

How the rich get richer – money in the world economy | DW Documentary

42:25
Exploding real estate prices, zero interest rate and a rising stock market – the rich are getting richer. What danger lies in wait for average citizens? For years, the world’s central banks have been pursuing a policy of cheap money. The first and foremost is the ECB (European Central Bank), which buys bad stocks and bonds to save banks, tries to fuel economic growth and props up states that are in debt. But what relieves state budgets to the tune of hundreds of billions annoys savers: interest rates are close to zero. The fiscal policies of the central banks are causing an uncontrolled global deluge of money. Experts are warning of new bubbles. In real estate, for example: it’s not just in German cities that prices are shooting up. In London, a one-bed apartment can easily cost more than a million Euro. More and more money is moving away from the real economy and into the speculative field. Highly complex financial bets are taking place in the global casino - gambling without checks and balances. The winners are set from the start: in Germany and around the world, the rich just get richer. Professor Max Otte says: "This flood of money has caused a dangerous redistribution. Those who have, get more." But with low interest rates, any money in savings accounts just melts away. Those with debts can be happy. But big companies that want to swallow up others are also happy: they can borrow cheap money for their acquisitions. Coupled with the liberalization of the financial markets, money deals have become detached from the real economy. But it’s not just the banks that need a constant source of new, cheap money today. So do states. They need it to keep a grip on their mountains of debt. It’s a kind of snowball system. What happens to our money? Is a new crisis looming? The film 'The Money Deluge' casts a new and surprising light on our money in these times of zero interest rates. _______ Exciting, powerful and informative – DW Documentary is always close to current affairs and international events. 1943 Steel Penny - Helpful Information About Mintages & Value

06:28
Type: Steel Wheat Penny Year: 1943 Mint Mark: No mint mark Face Value: 0.01 USD Total Produced: 684,628,000 Silver Content: 0% Numismatic Value: 45 cents to $10.00 Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in average condition will be valued at somewhere around 45 cents, while one in certified mint state (MS+) condition could bring as much as $10 at auction. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say average, we mean in a similar condition to other coins issued in 1943, and mint state meaning it is certified MS+ by one of the top coin grading companies. Additional Info: In the year 1943 the Unites States issued the steel penny because the copper was needed for World War II the steel look is actually the result of the mint using a Zinc coating. Most Valuable Kennedy Half Dollars To Look Out For

07:57
Type: Kennedy Half Dollar Year: 1964 Mint Mark: No mint mark Face Value: 0.50 USD Total Produced: 273,304,000 Silver Content: 90% Silver Weight: .3617 oz. Silver Melt: $5.91 Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in average condition will be valued at somewhere around $10, while one in certified mint state (MS+) condition could bring as much as $90 at auction. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say average, we mean in a similar condition to other coins issued in 1964, and mint state meaning it is certified MS+ by one of the top coin grading companies. Additional Info: 1964 was the first and only year that the Kennedy Half Dollar was minted in 90% silver. This coin was minted after his assassination, and some of the 1964 proofs have the Accented Hair. Kennedys wife requested the changes be made so that his hair would look better. Those are valued at between $100 and $900 depending on the condition and the market. Key date. High value listed would be for a coin in perfect condition, certified, and never having seen circulation. The links below are to my local coin shop's Ebay Store.
