Tyrannosaurus was a bipedal carnivore with a massive skull balanced by a long, heavy tail. Relative to its large and powerful hind limbs, Tyrannosaurus fore limbs were short but unusually powerful for their size and had two clawed digits. It is still among the largest known land predators and is estimated to have exerted the largest bite force among all terrestrial animals. More than 50 specimens of Tyrannosaurus rex have been identified, some of which are nearly complete skeletons. How to Make Simple Math Resources for Kids? Mental Math

09:10
The best way in teaching children any math related piece of information will be better done through games and tricks. Are you trying to settle on a simple math resource that could support you in the process of homeschooling your kid? Here is one your kid will enjoy. One of the simple math resources that Michelle created for examining the level of her kid was a simple paper game or trick that is based on the idea of asking questions and then checking whether the answer that the kid supported is right or wrong. Creating this game is easy - as shown in the video - you will need to fold the paper in a specific way so that you end up with a specific shape that allows you to fit your fingers in those paper pockets and manage to move them in order to complete the process of the game. The first layer will include numbers which the kid will choose from and you will need to count the number he/she have chosen with moving your fingers, the second part is the question which the kid will choose among the four that will be displayed for him/her and finally you will unfold the answer under this chosen question to know whether the answer given was right or wrong. It is important to play with your kid rather than be the one who is always in control of the paper and the one asking the question. Let your kid be in charge and asks you to choose a number and a question because that will help in the learning process, they will feel like they are playing and not being under attack to receive specific information in the educational process being followed. Another important tip to keep in mind is the discussion that you should build with your child while playing this game related to math; you have to let them choose a question to be written in the game, you should also ask them how did they manage to find the right answer for that specific question, what is the technique they follow in adding, subtracting, multiplication and dividing, let them share the way they followed to bring the answer to life. This discussion is important because it will let you first understand the mind of your kid and at the same time it will give that kid the chance to share their thoughts and know how to express what they have in mind. Math will turn out to be interesting for the child when you choose the right educational resources and ways that will make them interested and motivated to know more and to give more. You could follow our channel to learn more mental maths tricks that you could apply on your children. From the videos for the games and tricks that we want to share with you, there is the one for using play doh in counting and matching (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gig9xaA5Bzk), there is also the video for the multiplication way for kids (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9TWSto7FSU), there are some math games which Michelle brought before for the parents searching for support (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHi2ZVicVrI), there are those multiplication lessons given with the usage of some games and toys (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trlXHFaeZYw) and some of them are done with using the cubes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPW1bmLTFdA). You will find lots of videos about the different games and tricks for mental maths for kids that one could depend on to teach the kids something new in this field. Whenever it comes to the choice of tricks and games related to math, you should always make sure that you are choosing the one that is suitable for the age of your kid and knowing what is easy, moderate and what will be hard for them to grasp or even play and answer. In order to decide on the games and mental maths tricks for kids, you should review them first and then try it with your child, if it works then you are moving in the right direction, if it didn't work out then you should make the trick much easier and then keep making it harder with practice. If you hold any questions, want to learn new ways or have any suggestions then don't ever hesitate to inform and ask us and we will gladly and happily answer all your questions and help you with some suggestions as well. Addition for Kids - Math Resources - Math Tools - How to Add

03:14
Addition for kids could be all done through some specific ways and could be taught through some games, but the most important games of all are those which help the kid to think in order to tell whether the answer or result given is right or wrong. Addition for kids is the first step in the ladder of learning math, it comes just after the kids learn the numbers and start knowing how to count (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5gutmYmsaA). As much as knowing how to add and get the result of any mathematical equation or problem found out there is important, it is also important to teach the kids to use their minds in dealing with any mathematical equation given to them and know whether this answer is right or wrong. In this lesson of addition for kids, Michelle was trying to share one idea that parents could use while homeschooling their kids, or teachers could use while teaching their students, this technique is all about using puppets in saying right or wrong through some voices which parents or teachers have agreed upon before starting the whole game. The idea behind using puppets is trying to depend on something that would give the kids the feeling that they are interacting with other creatures and give them the feeling that they are not thinking alone - it makes them more interested about the lessons they are taking and the math games they are playing. The first step in this game is thinking about the mathematical question that you are going to ask the kids, the difficulty of the question will depend on the age of the kids and the level they have reached in maths in general. The second step will be deciding on the sounds or gestures which the kids will do with the puppets as a sign of being a right answer and that other sound which is the sign of being a wrong one. The final step in this game is letting the kids take their time while thinking about the equation in front of them and giving the right answer if the one in front of them is not and at the same time say the reason behind why it is considered wrong in the first place. If the puppets are considered expensive or you don't know from where you are supposed to buy them, they could be easily done with socks for example, so don't worry, there is always a solution for everything you want to use out there. Addition is the easiest when it comes to the operations related to maths for kids and that is the main reason why they usually learn at the beginning when they are still taking the initial steps in math (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdux-Xn35qE). There are different ideas for the games that kids could play in order to learn math and learn how to add (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkqMQJMtCrQ), some of these games are with play doh (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06BSCCDb2rw), there are those games with Lego (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLfSeSHWE78) and the ideas could even get more interesting than that with using building blocks, cartoon characters and the other games which the kids usually love to play with (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQxUX7XZmGw). After the addition, there are other steps to be taken, such as learning how to subtract (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdlIHYRnjAg), learning how to multiply (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKom4XkX7-8) and knowing more about division and its rules (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVM8iQMaZN8). Homeschooling is as important as schools are and parents should know the right ways for doing it and the different teaching methods which they are supposed to follow or know more about. It is not just about math, but there is also English, crafts and cooking, and Learningmole is trying to help parents and teachers to come up with some ideas that would make the whole learning process much more exciting for the kids and encourage them to think, play and find answers. Always keep in mind that playing with your kids is one effective way, it makes them feel that you are not just there to place your questions, but you are there to give answers as well and it is always a good idea to give wrong answers and see whether the kids will notice and correct them or not. Visit www.learningmole.com for more educational lessons and videos in Maths, English, Crafts and Cooking. LearningMole focuses on educating children of all ages.
