WARNING! Overbought Stock Market! Stock Indexes Correcting! CRX.X MS Commodity

http://www.StockMarketFunding.comWARNING! Overbought Stock Market! Stock Indexes Correcting! CRX.X MS Commodity Index Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 Index, Nasdaq Composite Index, New York Stock Exchange, Russell 2000, Real Estate Index, Gold Index, Silver Index. All overbought stocks are getting sold hard in the face of positive earnings. When these corrections start they start with nothing but red. We're seeing extreme greed and complacency in the stock markets. One that is frequently mentioned is the principle of a stock market being "overbought" or "oversold". Characterized by excessively high prices owing to prior heavy buying and a concomitant rise in prices: an overbought stock market. Overbought Stock Market Enters Corrective Phase as we predicted in prior trading videos. Is The Stock Market Extremely Overbought? Many investors have been piling into stocks at fresh 52 week highs. Bin Laden Killed....Markets Are Overbought. Shorting stocks at overbought levels has proven as successful strategy on an intraday level. We've seen major short squeezes and "bear raids" recently on BIDU and AMZN simply because we're too overbought on both the daily and weekly stock chart. A Stronger Dollar and Weaker Oil‎ have contributed to the recent "stock market correction". The expression "sell in may and go away" has certainly been the case so far in May 2011. We saw a "silver bubble" get popped as the AGQ and SLV sold off leading the decline as silver prices sold off from the recent highs. Silver Prices Fall 20%: What You Should Do? The fiat US dollar has no fixed value. It's worth must be measured against other currencies. Overbought market conditions, some falling commodities prices, and lackluster earnings from Pfizer, Molson, and Clorox have also contributed to the recent "market selloff". We're already down several handles from the last major stock market top. "World Markets" didn't push higher on news of "Osama Bin Laden" dying because the markets we're just too overbought. "Professional traders" have been selling into the up moves and buying put options below the market. US rejects releasing bin Laden death photos‎ and these are the type of headlines that keep investors distracted as markets selloff and stocks crash. SEC to Congress: More Money, Please? U.S. Urged to Probe Goldman Allegations. White House Speaks About Bin Laden Death Photos at Briefing. Leading stocks taken to woodshed. Portuguese Gold Sale Urged by Senior German Lawmakers as Mexican Central Bank Buys 100 Tonnes of Gold. . Which Markets To Trade? Trading Indices! 👍

10:22
Which Markets To Trade? Trading Indices http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/indices/Index-spread-betting.html PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! An Index can be defined either by what it is or what it does. It is a “basket of stocks”, but that’s about as enlightening as a set of flat-pack furniture instructions…written in Korean. What it does is let people see how well a stock market is performing. -Indices are a ‘basket of stocks’. They rise or fall depending on what happens to their constituent stocks. -Most indices use a ‘market cap weighted average’ calculation, so they are more heavily affected by large stocks than by small ones. -However a few, including the Dow Jones 30, don’t use this method. It pays to know what stocks and/or sectors are heavily represented in your index. Trading Indices Now we look at the second market you may consider trading, particularly when you are just starting out. This is the market of indices, the combination values of various countries’ markets or sectors. For instance, in America you have the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) or simply the “Dow”. This is made up of the values of the stocks of just 30 companies, and yet reflects the general state of US industry. It’s been going more than a century, and the only company that has remained on it all that time is General Electric. Other companies have been swapped out from time to time so that the index remains a good indication of the market. The companies are selected by the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal, which meets at intervals for just this purpose. The great advantage of trading the Dow is that it is cheap to trade, with a small spread – the difference between the buying and selling price or bid and offer. It’s a great place to start your trading. Also in America we have the S&P 500, which in contrast to the Dow uses the prices of the stocks of 500 companies to make up its value. When indices are made up, they usually don’t just add together the stock prices of the named companies to come to a total. They apply a weighting factor, which may for example mean that the stock price of a larger company has a larger effect on the index. The primary purpose of indices in the first place was to reflect the general investing environment, to report on how the markets are doing, so when they were set up the founders had that purpose in mind. In the UK we look to the FTSE 100 for an indication of the strength of the economy. This combines the stock prices of 100 UK companies. With some indices, such as this and the Dow, there are actually a whole range of varied “sub” indices available, covering different market sectors, different company capitalization, etc., but it is generally understood which index is meant when you use the term FTSE (footsie) or Dow. Another popular index is the DAX, which is the German market index. This tends to be more volatile than the others and thus can be hard to trade. But this also makes it more rewarding if you are up to the challenge. The French CAC is a similar sort of index, less popular than the DAX, and with slightly less volatility. Before you decide which index to use, it’s worthwhile doing a little research online. For instance, you will probably want to know whether the index is biased towards the tech industries or whether it has a predominance of banking and financial components. If you know what sectors the index tends to be weighted towards, you are better able to understand how it moves. This research is not something you have to do frequently, but it simply sets the stage for you to understand how the index value may vary over time.

Futures Market Explained

04:27
Farmers use various tools to control the many risks in agriculture. Watching the weather influences when they plant or harvest. Buying crop insurance and selecting farm bill safety net programs helps protect them from crop devastation. But they can also manage some of the threat posed by volatile market prices by participating in the futures market. Farmers can get a feel for how that works if they play Commodity Classic, an online teaching tool that uses fictitious bushels of grain in a fake futures market. But here at Harvest Public Media, we wanted to better understand how the futures market helps both producers and users of a major commodity, such as corn. And how the benefits trickle down to regular food consumers. Here’s what we learned.

How to make money in falling markets - Profit from Shares, FX, Commodities

03:22
http://www.thespreadtrader.com Can you really make money from a falling stockmarket? Most investors are familiar with buying a stock, an Exchange Traded Fund or Mutual fund and profiting from it going up but very few investors know how to profit from a falling market. It's all very well buying and holding in a bull market where prices steadily go up but for the last decade that has not been the case. Many professional traders and Hedge funds have been profiting from falling markets for many years but the good news is that you too can do the same and it is not as difficult or risky as some may think. Millionaire Trader and author of Maximum Trading Profits in Minimum Time Vince Stanzione has these tips: 1. You can buy an inverse Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). An Inverse ETF is a product which is designed to track a market, currency or commodity but in reverse. So for example say the Dow Jones Industrial Average drops 3% in a day than Dow Jones Inverse ETF (DOG) would up around the same amount. 2. You can buy put traded options. Most would never think of going without auto, home or travel insurance yet most do not think about insuring a stock portfolio. A put option can be used to protect a portfolio for a down move as well as used to profit. The good news about a put option is that whilst profits are unlimited your risk is strictly limited to the premium -- price paid. 3. You can short sell a company via an online broker Most brokers will allow you to Sell to open, so let's say you think Bank of America shares will fall you can sell 1000 shares at the current price let's say $10.00 -- you are now short 1000 shares. A few weeks later Bank Of America shares do fall so you now Buy to Close 1000 shares at $9, the profit would be the difference between selling at the higher price and buying at the lower one. So your profits are $1 X 1000 so that's $1000 less any commissions Of course this short video just gives an overview and idea if what is possible are there are other ways to profit and protect your portfolio. Those in the UK can use spread betting firms such as IG Index, City Index , Capital spreads and Cantor Index to make down bets. Also CFDs Contracts for diffrence can be used. Want to learn more about profiting or protecting your portfolio from a falling market? Vince Stanzione -- has launched a new course specifically for those based in the US to allow YOU to trade and invest. Maximum Profits In Minimum Time is designed for those that don't want to be glued to a screen all day but want to take control of their investments and make money regardless of if the markets are rising or falling. Vince has been trading for over 26 years and shares his experiences in a simple to follow way with no jargon. The course covers how to make money in currencies, commodities, Stocks and indices. Jim Rogers - How He Became a Commodities Trader

09:35
For the latest Jim Rogers, go to http://JimRogersBlog.com - In the investment business, Jim Rogers invested in everything both long and short. He came from a rural part of Alabama, but his family weren't farmers. He began investing in commodities because it looked like that was the major bull market at the time. When it was time to invest in commodities at that time, there weren't any proper indexes to invest in. Because of that, Jim Rogers had to sit down and create his own index that reflected the cost to live all around the world. Dow Jones didn't even know that they had a commodities index. You shouldn't put a penny of your money there. At times, the investment banks had huge commitments to commodities. They got out during the 80s and 90s because there was a bear market. Now they are starting to come back. The go to whatever is hot because that is what is easy to sell. In 5, 10, 15 years, they will come back to commodities in a big way. By definition, rising prices is inflation. Central banks are printing huge amounts of money all over the world. There are supply demand imbalances compounded by the central bank printing money. Who knows what will happen at the end of the bull run. At the end of bull markets, things get wild and hysteria. When prices get so extraordinarily high, that will reduce demand, and that is one of the factors that will lead to the end of the bull market. Normally, Jim Rogers has gotten out too soon, because he can see what is happening. But the prices can double very quickly at the end of a bull market. But it is the most dangerous part of the bull market. The US Dollar is a terribly flawed currency. It is going into its demise over the next couple decades. That commodities are traded in dollars will be a factor on their prices. 100 years ago commodities were traded in the Pound Sterling. But that changed, and now they are traded in the dollar. That too will change. India and China have 2.3 billion people, but their economies combined are still only a tenth of the size of the US and Western Europe. So they aren't as big of a factor right now, but that will slowly change.

http://www.StockMarketFunding.com Market Prediction BEFORE Dow Falls 500: Recession Fears Hammer Stocks, Commodities 90% of active mutual fund managers underperform each year. these funds are 100% long in all market scenarios. Why is that good for the mass affluent—or anyone else for that matter? Yes, mutual funds are 100% long in all scenarios this is why they but stocks at the highs before they fall. SMF has accurately called tops and bottoms in equities and markets throughout 2010 and 2011, go watch the videos! Hedge Fund & Mutual Fund Managers Underperforming the S&P 500 Index Chasing Performance as "Mutual Fund Managers", "Pension Fund Managers" and "Hedge Fund Managers" continue to underperform the broader markets. Watch this live "stock index analysis" video and economic analysis presented by StockMarketFunding CEO Mario Marciano. If you compare "Index Funds vs. Actively-Managed Funds" you'll find the "higher expense ratio" funds that are actively managed have not provided the value shareholders have been paying and have been pretty lousy at picking stocks relative to the S&P 500. The S&P 500 encountered resistance near the 1230 zone, which marks the 50% retracement level between the July high and August low. This was after a Consumer Confidence Index reading of 44.5 for August; it was the worst level for the Index since April 2009. Stocks rallied higher on options expiration Friday September 16, 2011. Ben Bernanke indicated futures stimulus and/or QE3 is coming and stocks rallied as options expired for the monthly expiration. The S&P 500 index closed higher by 6.9 points or .57% to close at 1,216.01. The Dow Jones Industrial Average Index closed higher by 76 points or .66% to close at 11,509. The Nasdaq 100 closed up 19.53 points or .85% to close at 2,306.09. The Dow Jones Transportation Index closed down -.2 points or 0% to close flat at 4,664.6. Those concerns translated into losses for crude oil, which settled lower by 1.6% to $87.96 per barrel. Futures sold off furiously throughout the morning, notching lows at $87, but managed to recoup some losses heading into the close of pit trade. Natural gas, which ended down 1.7% at $3.81 per MMBtu, added to yesterday's losses following this week's bearish inventory. Commodities Redux? - Joseph Trevisani

01:01:46
The recovery from the 20 month slide in commodities prices has ended. From April 2014 to this past January the Bloomberg Commodity Index fell 47.8 percent, from 138.6677 to 72.3315. The recovery lasted half a year and but in percentage term barely moved the needle. The top on June 9th at 90.3087 was still 34.8 percent below the April 2014 level and did not reach the first Fibonacci retracement at 38.2 percent. Since that peak in June the Bloomberg Commodities Index has fallen 7.65 percent (7/28), West Texas Intermediate has dropped 20.46 percent, entering the technical definition of a bear market. Copper, aluminum sugar, coffee, live cattle, and lean hogs, all components of the commodity index have fallen from 2.62 percent (copper) to 22.49 percent (live cattle, prices to 7/28). What are the implications of the turn in commodity prices? Is this just a natural profit pause after a half year run in prices or does it correlate with statistics and presage economic decline? Join us for a survey of the commodity markets. Joseph Trevisani began his twenty-five year career in the financial markets at Credit Suisse in New York and Singapore where he worked for 12 years as an interbank currency trader and trading desk manager. Returning from Asia he moved to Bermuda and managed the Asian Trading desk and...

CHAPTER - 35/DOW THEORY என்றால் என்ன?/Equity/Commodity

09:35
CHAPTER - 35/DOW THEORY என்றால் என்ன?/Equity/Commodity/Tamil The Dow Theory was introduced to the world by Charles H. Dow, who also founded the Dow-Jones financial news service (Wall Street Journal). During his time, he wrote a series of articles starting from 1900s which in the later years was referred to as ‘The Dow Theory’. Much credit goes to William P Hamilton, who compiled these articles with relevant examples over a period of 27 years. Shortages in raw material supplies is good for the commodity sector, says Jodie Gunzber...

02:32
SHORTAGES IN RAW MATERIAL SUPPLIES IS GOOD FOR THE COMMODITY SECTOR, SAYS JODIE GUNZBERG OF S&P DOW JONES INDICES. SHOWS: HONG KONG, CHINA (DECEMBER 5, 2013) (REUTERS - ACCESS ALL) JODIE GUNZBERG, VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMODITY INDICES, S&P DOW JONES INDICES 1. (QUESTION GRAPHIC) "Which commodities have put maximum pressure on global indices?" 2. JODIE GUNZBERG SAYING: "It depends which index you are talking about. So what is driving it is not only the commodity performance of individual commodities, but the weightings. For example the S&P GSCI, which is world production weighted was mainly driven down by agriculture, corn and wheat, whereas the Dow Jones UBS, which is also liquidity and production weighted but has limits was driven out primarily from metals led by gold." 3. (QUESTION GRAPHIC) "Next year may see an abundance in raw material supplies. Could investors expect to see lower prices?" 4. JODIE GUNZBERG SAYING: "Actually what we have seen is that the supplies have already adjusted to the abundance post the 2008 financial crisis and for the first time since 2011, now we are starting to see shortages and 2012 and 2013 had almost 50 percent of the time in shortages which is actually good for the commodities." 5. (QUESTION GRAPHIC) "What are your views on money flows in global commodity exchanges?" 6. JODIE GUNZBERG SAYING: "We've seen steady assets tracking in the commodity indices since 2010." 7. (QUESTION GRAPHIC) "Which commodities are finding favor among traders?" 8. JODIE GUNZBERG SAYING: "Traders today are finding the most opportunities more in the spread place than individual commodity so we see high interest in the WTI brent spread also in bare calendar spreads." 9. (QUESTION GRAPHIC) "What are your views on India in terms of commodity trading?" 10. JODIE GUNZBERG SAYING: "India is very important because they are a large consumer just like China and while there is much news about gold in India, what's really important to know is that India is one of the world's top ten oil consumers and it's the fastest growing oil consumer in the world. So from 2013 to 2014, the...

NYSE 1. Wide pan across trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) 2. Mid shot traders on NYSE floor AP TELEVISION 3. SOUNDBITE (English): Alec Young, Standard and Poor's Equity Market Strategist "We do think that the volatility we're seeing is going to persist because it's really driven by concerns that higher (interest) rates due to inflation fears and coordinated monetary policy tightening by central banks around the world are going to slow the global economy meaningfully in the second half and hurt earnings and we don't think that those concerns are going to go away overnight so we think a lot of the volatility and choppiness will persist for a while." NYSE 4. Pan across traders at the NYSE AP TELEVISION 5. SOUNDBITE: (English): Alec Young, Standard and Poor's Equity Market Strategist "We've seen big drops, 13 percent in Europe and about 17 percent in Japan, some of the emerging Asian markets over 20 percent, so we think the markets have discounted the bad news, so that if in fact the global economy slows from its very strong current pace, to a slower pace, that's already priced into the market, and conversely, if things turn out a little better than expected, there's room for the market to rally." NYSE 6. Wide shot pan trading floor NYSE STORYLINE: Wall Street resumed its retreat on Tuesday as declines in oil and gold prices did little to calm investors' anxiety over higher interest rates and a slowing economy. The selloff erased most of the Dow Jones industrials' gains for this year. Investors struggled to make sense of the Labor Department's producer price index, which showed a mild uptick in wholesale prices but a stronger-than-forecast rise in core inflation - without food or energy costs. The data suggested that energy costs did not rise as much as expected last month, but the higher core prices nonetheless renewed the market's inflation jitters. While a downturn in commodities fed hopes about easing inflation, persistent uncertainty about whether the Federal Reserve will continue boosting interest rates left investors unwilling to buy stocks amid fears of an economic crash. In late afternoon trading, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 72.76, or 0.67 percent, to 10,719.82. On Monday, the Dow plunged nearly 100 points to see its worst finish since early February; the blue-chip index is nearly flat for 2006. Broader stock indicators declined. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was down 12.35, or 1 percent, at 1,224.05, and the Nasdaq lost 21.62, or 1.03 percent, to 2,069.70. Declining issues topped advancers by almost 4 to 1 on the New York Stock Exchange, where volume of 1.72 (b) billion shares led the 1.15 (b) billion shares changing hands at the same point Monday. Although Wall Street had a mild reaction to the day's data, overseas stock markets roiled in concerns about rising interest rates hindering US demand for foreign-made products. Alec Young, Standard and Poor's Equity Market Strategist, said the volatility was likely to persist. "It's really driven by concerns that higher (interest) rates due to inflation fears and coordinated monetary policy tightening by central banks around the world are going to slow the global economy meaningfully in the second half and hurt earnings and we don't think that those concerns are going to go away overnight so we think a lot of the volatility and choppiness will persist for a while." he said. Japan's Nikkei stock average plunged 4.14 percent to a two-year low, and stocks in India slid 4.4 percent to a 52-week low. Elsewhere overseas, Britain's FTSE 100 lost 1.8 percent, Germany's DAX index sank 1.92 percent and France's CAC-40 was lower by 2.24 percent. However Young remained optimistic. Weekly Doji Strategy (Forex, Commodities, Crypto) : Long Term Gains feat. Bird

53:26
This strategy works on the Forex market, Commodities market, Crypto, indices and stocks! You must first have the trading strategy of how to trade doji using tradingview. In this live session I will teach you the weekly doji strategy. When comparing Forex vs stocks you could chose to do one or the other but I like a third option, do both. you'll see in this video The conformation strategy, doji conformation, day trading, stock trading, how the indexes US30, (USA30) nas100, sp500 are all related to each other with technical; analysis. we will also look at one of my favorite things, future fibs. link used in video: https://www.tradingview.com/x/uWz1JFSr/ Huge shout out to Bird for both being in the video showing his charts as well as testing this strategy. Really appreciate you! This is more advanced with technical analysis than some of my other videos and you will need to know classic Doji strategy, Fibs, Future fibs and PRP's to understand this strategy completely which can be found in my other videos. I focus on the pairs US30, USDCAD (Big hint on the trading strategy) (I refer to it as UCAD in the video), NAS100 and of course the DXY. I think you'll learn at least something by watching this video! we also went over quickly how to trade dojis, dragonfly doji, hammer doji, and doji conformation strategy. The US30 is a collection of 30 companies that are part of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (USA30) I really like the way it moves and I hope that our compare strategy pans out and continues to work in the future. The US30 moves very similar to other indexes which also leads me to like it even more as you can compare it to other similar indexes like the nas100 and sp500. Both trades given in this video ended up doing really well! If you were on my live session I hope you took them and made a lot of money! The students in this video came from Blue Capital FX during my live forex session, I tried to remember to read out all of their comments because they are not shown in the video but I definitely missed some. Thank you for your continued support by watching my videos! I hope you learned something new. I plan on talking more about how to trade Future fibs more in my next video and diving even deeper into Shiff Pitchfork Trading. I used tradingview for all markups in this video. Let me know if you feel like you learned how to use the compare strategy or made any money from it! Let me know if you like my trading strategy especially when it comes to future fibs and dragonfly doji with the doji conformation strategy! Follow me on Insta @Blakeolson7, @VVSinvestments
