How to Enable “Open Command Window Here” Option in Context Menu in Windows 10

06:27
How to return the 'Open command window here' option to Windows 10's context menu You can bring back the option to launch Command Prompt from the right-click context menu on Windows 10, and in this video, we show you how. On Windows 10, Microsoft continues to fade out Command Prompt in favor of PowerShell. Although you can still use the console, you'll notice that the option is no longer available on the Power User menu (Windows key + X), on the File menu for File Explorer, or in the extended context menu (Shift + Right-click). While there is an option in the Settings app to add Command Prompt to the Power User menu, you won't find an option to bring it back to the extended context menu. However, it's still possible to re-incorporate the option in Windows 10, if you're comfortable modifying the Registry. If you have any question about this, you can feel free to leave them to comment section below or post in our group and I will try to reply when I'm free. In this step by step guide, we will teach you how to even add features to your command bar and customize it further. Step 1 -- Click on Command Bar First of all, right click on tool bar and a new menu will appear on the screen. From the options being displayed, click on the internet explorer "Command Bar". Step 2 -- Command Bar Activated With that done, you can see the Command bar being displayed below the tool bar. Over here, you can see more options and shortcuts which you can use. For example, if you click on the "Home" button, a drop down menu will appear on the screen. From the menu, click on the "Add or Change Home Page" option and you can set the homepage for internet explorer directly from here. Step 3 -- Click on Printer Icon on Command Bar Furthermore, if you click on the "Printer" icon, it will automatically redirect you to the printing options. For that, you can click on the "Page" option in the command bar and you can find both the send page by email and save option in the menu that appears. Step 5 -- Tools Menu on the Command Bar The "Tools" menu allows you to manage add-ons, enable full screen, open up third party applications and access the internet options window from here Step 6 -- Add or remove commands You can customize the command bar according to your requirements as well, adding or removing options from the menu. Over here, click on any tool to select it. For example in this tutorial, we will select the "Text size" feature. With that done, simply click on the add button to add the feature to the command bar. Step 8 -- Add features to command bar Similarly, we will add the "F12 developer tool" as well. Once done, you can see the two features have been added in the command bar. This is how you can work with internet explorer toolbars such as the command bar.
How to Extract Command Line (CMD process) Data from Malware Documents

07:52
Most of malware documents (maldocs) uses CMD (cmd.exe) on its VBA macro to launch its next stage, while you can look directly on its VBA macro code, most of the time they are obfuscated and will be needing to spend some time decoding it; also others are password protected VBA Projects which you needed to crack first to be able to read the VBA macro. Hence might cause you a bit of time, depending on knowledge and experience. One quick way to be able to find out what the second stage command/script/file does is by directly examining its CMD process data along with the parameters it uses. Here is a video tutorial on extracting command line data from malware documents. Document samples used are connected to: Trickbot Malware Emotet Malware and IceID Trojan Emotet Malware and Gootkit Trojan Tools used in video: Process Explorer by Microsoft Sysinternal https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer CMD Watcher by Kahu Security http://www.kahusecurity.com/tools/CMDWatcher_v0.3.7z (password: kahusecurity) Hope this video helped you somehow. This tutorial will show you how to add 'Restart Explorer' to the desktop context menu of all users in Windows 10. While you must be signed in as an administrator to be able to add or remove the context menu, all users will be able to use it. Restart Explorer context menu usage: When you right click or press and hold on the desktop and click/tap on Restart Explorer, you will see a command prompt window open indicating that it has stopped the explorer.exe process, and will wait on you to press a key before starting the explorer.exe process again. This way you can use the context menu to stop explorer, do what you need to do while it's stopped, click/tap on the command prompt window to make it the active window again, and press any key to start explorer. To Add "Restart Explorer" to Desktop Context Menu 1. Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and save it to your desktop.
