TO USE OR PRINT this presentation click : http://videosliders.com/r/1285 ============================================================== The Balance of Payments 3Chapter 3 Chapter Objective: This chapter serves to introduce the student to the balance of payments, how it is constructed and how balance of payments data may be interpreted. Chapter Outline Balance of Payments Accounts The Current Account The Capital Account External Balance and the Exchange Rate Balance of Payments Trends in Major Countries ,Balance of Payments The Balance of Payments is the statistical record of a country’s international transactions over a certain period of time presented in the form of double-entry bookkeeping. Why is it useful to examine a country’s BOP? The BOP provides detailed information about the supply and demand of the country’s currency. The trade statistics in the Current Account, for example, show the composition of trade – what a country imports and what it exports. The Capital Account shows inflows and outflows of capital in various categories. Viewed over time, BOP data can shed light on important developments in a country’s comparative advantage and international competitiveness. ,Balance of Payments Accounts They are composed of the following: The Current Account The Capital Account The Official Reserve Account ,Balance of Payments Accounts Current Account Records flows of exports, imports, investment income, and international financial transfers. Merchandise trade – export and import of tangible goods Services – payments and receipts for legal and consulting fees, royalties, tourist expenditures Investment income – payments and receipts of interest, dividends, and other income on foreign investments Unilateral Transfers – “unrequited” payments (e.g. Foreign aid). If the debits exceed the credits, then a country is running a trade deficit. If the credits exceed the debits, then a country is running a trade surplus. ,Balance of Payments Accounts The capital account Records sales to foreigners of Canadian financial assets and Canadian purchases of foreign financial assets. The capital account is composed of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), portfolio investments, and other investment. Direct investment involves acquisitions of controlling interests in foreign businesses. Portfolio investment represents investment in foreign shares and bonds that do not involve acquisitions of control. Other investment includes bank deposits, currency investment, trade credit and the like. ,Balance of Payments Accounts The Reserve Account The Reserve Account of BOP records changes in the amount of “official” reserve assets held by the Bank of Canada. Official reserves assets include gold, foreign currencies, SDRs, reserve positions in the IMF. If a country must make net payment to foreigners because of BOP deficit, the country could either run down its official reserve assets or borrow anew from foreigners. ,Balance of Payments Accounts Statistical Discrepancy There’s going to be some omissions and misrecorded transactions—so we use a “plug” figure to get things to balance. Exhibit 3.4 shows a discrepancy of $0.8 billion in 2002. How to calculate? BP = 0 when all known transactions are accounted for, so the SD is the "residual" value that will balance the books. ,The Balance of Payments Identity BCA + BKA + BRA = 0where BCA = balance on current account BKA = balance on capital account BRA = balance on the reserves account Under a pure flexible exchange rate regime, where the CB does not maintain any official reserves, a CA surplus or deficit must be matched by KA deficit or surplus: BCA + BKA = 0 Under the fixed exchange rate regime, the combined balance on the current and capital accounts will be equal in size, but opposite in sign, to the change in the official reserves: BCA + BKA = -BRA ,Balance of Payments Fixed Exchange Rate BOP determines necessity of government intervention Can help forecast devaluation/revaluation of currencies Floating Exchange Rate Government has no responsibility as FX rates

Finding a Comfortable Starting Account Balance to Trade With

10:29
There are a few different levels of account balances when it comes to trading. It can be helpful to have three separate accounts: one for an IRA, one for trading/day trading, and another for swing positions. How you manage your accounts is up to you, but there are a few guidelines. These guidelines may change based on the price of the stock you are trading. Accounts will be different between a $500 stock compared to a $20 stock. At $500,000+ you will buy more shares of a company trading at $1 per share and you might be able to move that stock heavily. If you purchase the same $1 stock with the $0 to $1,000 account, you will not move the stock. ----------------- $0 TO $1,000 - You may only have one account when you have a smaller amount of money available for trading. - You may have trouble finding brokers. - There is a law that states accounts less than $25,000 can't day trade and can't trade more than three trades every five days. ----------------- $5,000 TO $20,000 This amount is what most people start with. $5,000 is close to the minimal requirement for most brokers. You will not be able to buy a lot of expensive stocks. You need to give them more room to play. ----------------- $25,000 TO $150,000 If you buy a lot of one stock you could be down a considerable mount of money in one to two days. You need to know how to manage your risks and trades, and you need to build up your experience before trading. ----------------- $500,000+ At this point you will start to move stocks slightly, especially if you are putting in $300,000 to $400,000 to one stock. Once your account gets to $3 million to $5 million you may want to buy $300,000 of one stock. If you have 4 or 5 stocks it won't dampen your account value too much. That is when you start moving the market. You want to be careful and watch how you trade. You want to really know what you are doing when you get to this level. You may want to be gradual rather than buying everything at once. For example, you may want to wait for a basing pattern and buy in increments. The important thing to understand about higher account values is that you start to move the market. With lower account values you need to manage your risk more. You will also pay more on commissions with lower account values. Make sure that when you are first start to trade that you trade three to five shares as a test run. It gives you the emotional experience behind trading. You will probably lose out on most of them because of commissions but it will be more educational than paper trading. ★ SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE: ★ http://bit.ly/addtradersfly ★ ABOUT TRADERSFLY ★ TradersFly is a place where I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience about the stock market, trading, and investing. The region, in which the US and China are competing for influence, is seeking a third force that could balance them both. Singapore, which is often called Asian New York, in its turn, can offer finance even to those companies that are under the Western sanctions. Denis Davydov has the details.

83. How Banks, Hedge Funds, and Corporations Move Currencies

05:41
Practice trading with a free demo trading account: http://bit.ly/IT-forex-demo3 View full lesson: http://www.informedtrades.com/21041-forex-market-participants.html Behind central banks in terms of size and ability to move the foreign exchange market are the banks which we learned about in our previous lessons which make up the Interbank market. It is important to understand here that in addition to executing trades on behalf of their clients, the bank's traders often times try to earn additional profits by taking speculative positions in the market as well. While most of the other players we are going to discuss in this lesson do not have the size and clout to move the market in their favor, many of these bank traders are an exception to this rule and can leverage their huge buying power and inside knowledge of client order flow to move the market in their favor. This is why you hear about quick market jumps in the foreign exchange market being attributed to the clearing out the stops in the market or protecting an option level, things which we will learn more about in later lessons. The next level of participants is the large hedge funds who trade in the foreign exchange market for speculative purposes to try and generate alpha, or a return for their investors that is over and above the average market return. Most forex hedge funds are trend following, meaning they tend to build into longer term positions over time to try and profit from a longer term uptrend or downtrend in the market. These funds are one of the reasons that currencies often times develop nice longer term trends, something that can be of benefit to the individual position trader. Although not the typical way that Hedge funds profit from the market, probably the most famous example of a hedge fund trading foreign exchange is the example of George Soros' Quantum fund who made a very large amount of money betting against the Bank of England. In short, the Bank of England had tried to fix the exchange rate of the British Pound at a particular level buy buying British Pounds, even though market forces were trying to push the value of the Pound Down. Soros felt that this was a losing battle and essentially bet the entire value of his $1 Billion hedge fund that the value of the pound would decrease. The market forces which were already at play, combined with Soro's huge position against the Bank of England, caused so much selling pressure on the pound that the Bank of England had to give up trying to prop up the currency and it preceded to fall over 5% in one day. This is a gigantic move for a major currency, and a move which netted Soros' Quantum Fund over $1 Billion in profits in one day. Next in line are multinational corporations who are forced to be participants in the forex market because of their overseas earnings which are often converted back into US Dollars or other currencies depending on where the company is headquartered. As the value of the currency in which the overseas revenue was earned can rise or fall before that conversion, the company is exposed to potential losses and/or gains in revenue which have nothing to do with their business. To remove this exchange rate uncertainty many multinational corporations will hedge this risk by taking positions in the forex market which negate any exchange rate fluctuation on their overseas revenues. Secondly these corporations also buy other corporations overseas, something which is known as cross boarder mergers and acquisitions. As the transaction for the company being bought or sold is done in that company's home country and currency, this can drive the value of a currency up as demand is created for the currency to buy the company or down as supply is created when the company is sold. Lastly are individuals such as you and I who participate in the forex market in three main areas. 1. As Investors Seeking Yield: Although not very popular in the United States, overseas and particularly in Japan where interest rates have been close to zero for many years, individuals will buy the currencies or other assets of a country with a higher interest rate in order to earn a higher rate of return on their money. This is also referred to as a carry trade, something that we will learn more about in later lessons. 2. As Travelers: Obviously when traveling to a country which has a different currency individual travelers must exchange their home currency for the currency of the country where they are traveling. 3. Individual speculators who actively trade currencies trying to profit from the fluctuation of one currency against another. This is as we discussed in our last lesson a relatively new phenomenon but most likely the reason why you are watching this video and therefore a growing one.

How the Three Financial Statements Fit Together

Brought to you by StratPad: Simple Business Plan App. Try it free at http://www.stratpad.com This video completes our course on financial statements by showing you how the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows are connected. We'll take you through two months in the life of a company as it's recorded in the financial statements. If you've watched all the videos in the series, you'll recognize all the terms and realize how far you've come in your understanding of financial statements. http://www.stratpad.com/financial-statements-made-easy-video-course/how-the-three-financial-statements-fit-together/ Video Transcript Nicely done! You've made it to the last video. And, by the way, don't be put off by the busy-ness of this screen. You know all this stuff here: income statement, statement of cash flows, the balance sheet. What I'm going to do now is a very fast rattle through of all three of these, just to cover off all the work that you already know. Alright are you ready? Let's get going. Oh one thing -- by the way -- you'll see negative numbers don't have a dash in front of them; they're represented with brackets around them. Ok, ready go. This is for January for Acme Web Design. The income statement starts off with sales of $5,000 and a corresponding costs of goods sold of $1,000. We know to subtract the $1,000 from the $5,000 to get to $4,000. Then we have a bunch of expenses: general and and administrative $6,000 -- that's your rent, telecommunications costs, administrative costs, that type of thing; no research and development costs; we have sales and marketing -- there was salary in there and a small campaign. Add all those up to get to $9,000. Then subtract $9,000 from $4,000 to get to ($5,000). That's our fancily named subtotal: earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization or called EBITDA. We didn't have no interest -- we didn't pay anything to the bank — and therefore our net income is a ($5,000) loss. That means we didn't make any money here. That ($5,000) goes over to the top of the statement of cash flows. The $5,000 worth of sales wasn't paid to us. Half of it instead went to accounts receivable ($2,500). When that happens it decreases the amount of cash available, therefore a negative number. But you can also see that it increases the accounts receivable showing on the balance sheet $2,500. But then, we didn't pay some of the costs this month. That increased our accounts payable $1,000 and also increased the amount of cash that we have on hand. There's our accounts payable down here $1,000. So total cash from operations is ($6,500). We didn't buy any equipment, we didn't take out a loan, but the founder did put in $25,000 against common stock. Therefore, the total cash proceeds coming into the company this month is $18,500. That's the total of this ($6,500) and this zero and this $25,000. Cash at the start of the period was zero. Therefore, cash at the end of the period was $18,500 and this starts off our balance sheet right here. We know what the accounts receivable is $2,500, therefore total current assets is $21,000. No equipment. There's the accounts payable $1,000. Total current liabilities of $1,000. No long-term liabilities. Total overall liabilities of $1,000. There's the common stock $25,000 sliding in here. Retained earnings is, as you know, the total of all the profits and losses since the company began. If you look down, you see a total of liabilities and equity of $21,000 which balances with the total assets of $21,000. Our balance sheet balances -- whew. We're almost there. I just want to show you one more thing. Ok, so what I've done here is added in another month. We're going to go through the month of February and we're going to do it very quickly. Alright, sales of $7,000 is up from the previous month. Corresponding 20 per cent of cost of goods sold $1,400 leaves a total gross profit of $5,600. Expenses hasn't changed, still $9,000 worth of expenses. $5,600 of gross profit minus the $9,000 of expenses equals the EBITDA of ($3,400). So we're still losing money but not as badly, which is exactly what you want to see in a new company. We did pay the bank $100 worth of interest and I'll show you why in just a minute. ($3,400) minus $100 is equal to ($3,500) the loss for the month. And that starts off our statement of cash flows at the top ($3,500). Ok, here's a little trickiness. The $2,500 in accounts receivable last month got paid to us this month but we also then took half. This sales then went back into accounts receivable. The difference between the $2,500 from last month and the $3,500 from this month is $1,000. So accounts receivable went up by $1,000 as you can see here, which just reduces our cash. What is Cash Management ?

01:16
Cash management is an important part of any business’ efforts to thrive financially. Cash management is a broad term that applies to the collecting, managing and investing of cash. Think of it as the balance between the money a business takes in and the money it pays out. In the long run, businesses need more coming in. When done well, cash management enables businesses to avoid insolvency and handle unexpected costs. It also reduces the time bills spend in accounts receivables, and finds the best short-term investments. Cash management can entail hiring debt collectors, or be as simple as locking cash in a box so it can’t be stolen. Small businesses rely more on efficient cash management because they typically lack access to more favorable lines of credit. Many times they face large start-up costs that require having cash readily available. Those who handle a company’s cash management must demonstrate a high level of financial literacy. Typically, they assume corporate treasury or business manager positions that carry great responsibility. New techniques and technology are regularly developed, so cash managers must be able to adapt quickly. Read more: Copyright © Investopedia.com

Is Our Trade Deficit a Problem? Foreign Exchange Reserves, Money Markets, Forex (2005)

47:14
From Classical economic theory, those who ignore the effects of long run trade deficits may be confusing David Ricardo's principle of comparative advantage with Adam Smith's principle of absolute advantage, specifically ignoring the latter. The economist Paul Craig Roberts notes that the comparative advantage principles developed by David Ricardo do not hold where the factors of production are internationally mobile. Global labor arbitrage, a phenomenon described by economist Stephen S. Roach, where one country exploits the cheap labor of another, would be a case of absolute advantage that is not mutually beneficial. In 2010, economist Ian Fletcher authored a significant work entitled, Free Trade Doesn't Work: What Should Replace It and Why, where he has supported a strategic approach to trade rather than an unconditional or unilateral approach. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_deficit Foreign-exchange reserves (also called forex reserves or FX reserves) are assets held by central banks and monetary authorities, usually in different reserve currencies, mostly the United States dollar, and to a lesser extent the Euro, the Pound sterling, and the Japanese yen, and used to back its liabilities, e.g., the local currency issued, and the various bank reserves deposited with the central bank, by the government or financial institutions. Central banks throughout the world have sometimes cooperated in buying and selling official international reserves to attempt to influence exchange rates and avert financial crisis. For example, in the Baring crisis (the "Panic of 1890"), the Bank of England borrowed GBP 2 million from the Banque de France.[15] The same was true for the Louvre Accord and the Plaza Accord. More recently, the Fed organized Central bank liquidity swaps with other institutions. During the crisis of 2008, developed countries authorities adopted extra expansionary monetary and fiscal policies, which led to the appreciation of currencies of some emerging markets. The resistance to appreciation and the fear of lost competitiveness led to policies aiming to prevent inflows of capital and more accumulation of reserves. This pattern was called Currency war by an exasperated Brazilian authority. The IMF [16] proposed a new metric to assess reserves adequacy in 2011. The metric was based on the careful analysis of sources of outflow during crisis. Those liquidity needs are calculated taking in consideration the correlation between various components of the balance of payments and the probability of tail events. The higher the ratio of reserves to the developed metric, the lower is the risk of a crisis and the drop in consumption during a crisis. Besides that, the Fund does econometric analysis of several factors listed above and finds those reserves ratios are generally adequate among emerging markets. Reserves that are above the adequacy ratio can be used in other government funds invested in more risky assets such as sovereign wealth funds or as insurance to time of crisis, such as stabilization funds. If those were included, Norway, Singapore and Persian Gulf States would rank higher on these lists, and United Arab Emirates' estimated $627 billion Abu Dhabi Investment Authority would be second after China. Apart from high foreign exchange reserves, Singapore also has significant government and sovereign wealth funds including Temasek Holdings, valued in excess of $145 billion and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, valued in excess of $330 billion. In a strict sense, foreign-exchange reserves should only include foreign currency deposits and bonds. However, the term in popular usage commonly also adds gold reserves, special drawing rights (SDRs), and International Monetary Fund (IMF) reserve positions. This broader figure is more readily available, but it is more accurately termed official international reserves or international reserves. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_exchange_reserves

What is the purpose of a Bedroom? I will give you the method or principle because Vaisheshik teaches us how to categorize the attributes & effects. So first of all, try to know & understand the Purpose. What is the purpose of a Bedroom? The first purpose of a Bedroom is Sleeping. Now, is Sleeping & Relaxation the same thing? No, because Relaxation can be done after 15 minutes of Meditation, as well. Actually, a Sound Sleep of 6 to 7 or 8 hours is necessary to rejuvenate yourself and to regenerate your Body as well as your Body Cells. This is the first & foremost purpose of Sleep and the prime purpose of a Bedroom. ................................................................ #mahavastu #khush #drkhushdeepbansal #bedroomeffects #vastuforhealth

IB Account Partitions

03:11
With Account Partitions, you allocate cash and/or positions from your current IB account into a newly created "partition" which is then managed by the professional Advisor or Broker of your choice. While this partition is traded by a professional, as the primary account holder you can log into your TWS account at any time to monitor the performance of the partition, see all of its positions, check account activity, and review margin and available balances - just as you currently do with your account. Additionally, all activity in the partition is labeled and reflected in your monthly statements, and you retain the ability to trade the non-partitioned segment of your account. Korea posts first ever surplus in net foreign-asset position

한국 순국제투자잔액 227억달러

02:03
Korea′s balance sheet in asset investments as of September has made it in the black for the first time... since data was first collected in 1994. Hwang Ji-hye explains what led the surplus and what it implies for the country. New figures show... Korean banks are now less vulnerable to external shocks. That′s because... the country′s assets overseas outpaced the debt it owes to foreigners for the first time... as of the end of September. The Bank of Korea says... the amount of international assets stood at 1-point-0-5 trillion U.S. dollars,... compared to 1-point-0-2 trillion dollars of foreign debt. The central bank adds... that the assets and debt also includes investments in stocks. "It′s not like companies are in debt if an investor buys theirs shares, but it means foreigners have that much of a stake in Korea. So the figure reflects a broader picture of Korea′s indebtedness." The surplus in net foreign assets comes on the back of a weak Korean won against the greenback... that fell over 3 percent as of the end of September from three months ago. Although the actual amount of foreign investment in Korea remains unchanged, the amount, when converted into U.S. dollars, drops as the won tumbles. But it′s also the increased amount of Korean investments overseas... that led the surplus. "In the past, Korea was concerned about foreign debt that also had a massive impact on foreign exchange rates. That... also prompted worries over financial crises. But because it now has more assets overseas, the focus should be on how to manage the assets efficiently." Analysts add... that Korea′s overseas investments are likely to continue on this upward trend... as the country posted a current account surplus for the 31st straight month in September. Hwang Ji-hye, Arirang News.

Access Bank's Five-Year Strategic Plan - Part 6

02:06
This is the latest in a series of transformative strategies that have resulted in sustained growth. From 2013 to November 2017, Access Bank has increased its total assets at a CAGR of 18% and delivered shareholder returns of 90%. The bank has also grown its customer base from 90,000 in 2002 to over 8 million in 2017 and in the same period opened 351 new branches. The new 5-year strategy will accelerate this growth story to position Access Bank as the No. 1 Nigerian bank by 2022 and create a Universal Payments Gateway to dominate international trade and inter-African payments. The new strategy has six strategic levers: • Digitally led • Retail banking growth and consolidation in wholesale markets • Customer focused • Analytics driven, with robust risk management • Strong global collaboration in key gateway markets • The creation of a universal payments gateway To deliver the transformation, Access Bank will adopt a new organisational structure. The retail bank will have a customer segment focus, driven by digital and payments. The corporate bank will build deep sector expertise and deploy global relationship managers. Access Bank’s subsidiaries will be organised around strategic clusters, with strong collaboration between them to secure trade finance and correspondent banking. The bank’s transformation programme will be underpinned by robust risk management together with high levels of automation to enhance the compliance and risk functions and drive customer insights. In next phase of its transformation programme, Access Bank will embark on a series of bold initiatives. At home, the goal is to be the No. 1 bank in Nigeria by growing the retail customer base, SME client base, and by dominating the top 100 Nigerian corporates. Internationally it will develop an integrated global franchise by strategically developing its presence in key African markets, enhancing collaboration in global financial gateways including London and New York, Asia and the Middle East, and strengthening its trade hubs in India, Dubai and China. A strengthened presence in key African markets, and the creation of Universal Payments Gateway combined with an integrated global franchise, ideally positions Access Bank to be Africa’s Gateway to the World.

Larry Shover Bloomberg TV "Futures Focus" (Gold Part 2) - 2/25/14

02:47
No Matter What, Monetary Policy will Remain a Sword Over Gold's Head Gold has been well supported thus far in 2014, due to: • The dent a string of poor data has made in sentiment about the pace of growth in the US. • Knock-on effect on the rates markets. That resulted in a sharp rally in UST during January (US 10-year yields slide from 3.00% to 2.60%) and a reversal in real yields. Consequently, western investor liquidation of gold has largely come to a halt over the last three weeks and shorts have continued to cover their positions in futures and options. Physical side has been steady, especially relative to last year. • Chinese demand has been SOLID, rather than STUPENDOUS, with the Shanghai/London arbitrage in the $7-$12 range and Asian premiums for kilo bars close to normal around $1.50. • How about India? We must remember one of the background influences that contributed to gold making its run above $1,300 was speculation about whether the government would reverse the onerous 80/20 import/export regulation. 1. That was introduced LAST YEAR as part of a package of measures intended to cut India's balance of payment deficit. (Which, BTW, has been successful with the current account deficit narrowing to $26.9b in the first half of the current fiscal year, compared to $37.9b in the first half). 2. A suggestion that the rules could be relaxed contributed to a sharp fall in local premiums from $100/oz. at the start of the year to $75/oz. currently. 3. In my mind, it's unlikely that the current administration (or anyone) will be in a hurry to unwind constraints that were imposed less than one year ago. To do so, would risk a very sharp acceleration in gold imports and a rapid reversal of the recent improvement in India's balance of payments. Exchange data -- the Comex gold net speculator position rose to the highest it has been since October, 2013 and marks the 8th consecutive weekly increase. • The managed money component, reached its highest since December, 2012.

Statement of Cash Flows: Net Cash from Operations, Investments and Financing

03:51
Brought to you by StratPad: Simple Business Plan App. Try it free at http://www.stratpad.com In this video, we dig into the statement of cash flows and how it measures the ebbs and flows of cash in your company. We'll use an example to help you understand how to arrive at net cash by calculating three components on the statement of cash flows: cash from operations, cash from investing and cash from financing. http://www.stratpad.com/financial-statements-made-easy-video-course/statement-of-cash-flows-net-cash-from-operations-investments-and-financing/ Video Transcript Let's take a couple of minutes to look at the statement of cash flows in greater detail. Then I'll get into an example that brings all this together. The statement of cash flows is broken into three sections: 1. Cash from operations, which you already have seen — it starts off with the cash from net income and then makes adjustments, up or down, related to whether or not customers are paying us this month or they're paying us later. And then adjustments up or down depending on accounts payable, whether we are paying our suppliers this month or whether we are delaying payments to suppliers. 2. Cash from investing. This is investments that the company makes. This is not investments that others make in the company. The company can make investments by buying a building or by buying equipment and those things are then used for the company to generate additional cash. 3. Cash from financing is where we get bank loans and also where outside investors will purchase stock in the company. Here's a quick example with numbers so you can see how this adds and flows. Net income is $5,000 of profit this month; Accounts receivable went up ($4,000), which adversely affects our cash; and Accounts payable also went up ($2,000) and when accounts payable goes up, that improves our cash position. We subtotal this ($5,000 minus $4,000 plus $2,000) is $3,000. We spent $15,000 on a piece of equipment, so that's cash going out. Total cash from investing is minus $15,000. We took a bank loan of $10,000, so that's cash in. We also had a founder put in an additional $25,000 worth of cash. Therefore, cash from financing is $35,000. Then we total each of these three sections ($3,000 minus $15,000 plus $35,000) is $23,000. Cash at the beginning of the period was zero. Therefore, cash at the end is $23,000, with a double-underline to show that we're at the end. I hope you can see that the statement of cash flows tells a pretty clear story of the comings and goings of the cash in the period. It does take a bit of practice though, particularly things like accounts receivable, which seem to be a little counter-intuitive. As you're going through it, just make sure that you're asking yourself the question: is more cash coming in or is more cash coming out? If cash is coming in, then it's a positive value like here ($5,000). If cash is coming out, like when we spend money on equipment, then it's a negative value (minus $15,000). If you stick by that rule of thumb, that will help you get through this. Then, of course, you should just be practicing looking at your statement of cash flows every single month. You're just about to graduate! Just one more video where we bring this all together and then you're done. Way to go.

Newer video for this topic- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6Udc6uDX8o In this video. I explain the most important graph in most introductory macroeconomics courses- the aggregate demand model. In this video I cover aggregate demand (AD), aggregate supply (AS), and the long run aggregate supply (LRAS). Make sure that you feel comfortable drawing it and showing the economy at full employment, with a recessionary gap, and with an inflationary gap. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe! Registration Guide CRYPTO-BUILDER SUCCESS TEAM

Understanding Crypto-builder Payouts in the Tortoise Matrix (Matrix 1) As each position begins to accrue a balance, this will be reflected in the "Balance" at the top of your Dashboard. This "Balance" is a combined total of the balances for ALL of your positions. If you have more than one position with a balance, just scroll down and you will see the breakdown of the balance for EACH individual position that makes up that total "Balance" at the top. The actions described below pertain to EACH individual position balance, and NOT the total balance shown at the top. All positions follow the same path to a Payout and there is an order to how things are done with the available balance for EACH position: 1) New positions are automatically purchased for you 2) Upgrades are automatically handled for you 3) Any remaining balance is automatically paid out to your Bitcoin Wallet AFTER the obligations of numbers 1 and 2 have been met, the remaining balance, for EACH level, will be paid directly to your Wallet. You may also want to study this, along with the "How it Works" chart, the Matrix Chart, and the video to see it step by step. Also, there is no payout for Level 1. Level 2 Payout - $60 When the 4 positions on YOUR Level 2 upgrade to Level 2, you will have received a total of $160 in income. Here is the breakdown of the Level 2 Payout: 1) A new position is purchased for you - $20 2) You are upgraded to Level 3 - $80 3) The balance is paid directly to your Wallet - $60 Total $160 Level 3 Payout - $300 When the 8 positions on YOUR Level 3 upgrade to Level 3, you will have received a total of $640 in income. Here is the breakdown of the Level 3 Payout: 1) Four (4) new positions are purchased for you - $80 2) You are upgraded to Level 4 - $260 3) The balance is paid directly to your Wallet - $300 Total $640 Level 4 Payout - $2,800 When the 16 positions on YOUR Level 4 upgrade to Level 4, you will have received a total of $4,160 in income. Here is the breakdown of the Level 4 Payout: 1) Sixteen (16) new positions are purchased for you - $320 2) You are upgraded to Level 5 - $1,040 3) The balance is paid directly to your Wallet - $2,800 Total $4,160 Level 5 Payout - $29,000 When the 32 positions on YOUR Level 5 upgrade to Level 5, you will have received a total of $33,280 in income. Here is the breakdown of the Level 5 Payout: 1) Fifty-nine (59) new positions are purchased for you in the Tortoise Matrix (Matrix 1) - $1,180 and 1 new position is purchased for you in the Ambitious Matrix (Matrix 2) - $100 2) You are upgraded to Level 6 - $3,000 3) The balance is paid directly to your Wallet - $29,000 Total $33,280 Level 6 Payout - $186,800 When the 64 positions on YOUR Level 6 upgrade to Level 6, you will have received a total of $192,000 in income. Here is the breakdown of the Level 6 Payout: 1) Two Hundred Thirty (230) new positions are purchased for you in the Tortoise Matrix - $4,600 and 1 new position is purchased for you in the LiftOff Matrix (Matrix 3) - $500 2) Your original position has completed the Tortoise Matrix and is fully upgraded to the Ambitions Matrix - $100 3) The balance is paid directly to your Wallet - $186,800 Total $192,000 Helpful Tips: Look at the individual balances for EACH position, not the total balance. Determine if steps 1 and 2 have been met for the Level the position is on and if not, what is needed to have them met to move your position to the next Level. Remember, steps 1 and 2 must be met FIRST, on EACH level, before a Payout is made to you. Once your obligations have been met on EACH level, any remaining payments from that level will be paid directly to your wallet. This means that you could have moved on to Level 4, for example, and still be receiving the remaining payments from Level 3. And you would have payments coming in from Levels 3 and 4, in this case. Set your goals to reach for the Payout on EACH level, one at a time. Study your matrix to determine how to best help yourself on each level. I hope this helps :-) Join our TEAMBUILD Link to get faster growth. 1 link faster growth http://bit.ly/Crypto-BuilderSUCESSteam Let me explain our strategy Benefits of using one registration link. CRYPTO TEAM BUILDING LINK: http://bit.ly/Crypto-BuilderSUCESSteam The above link is the group Registration link. It also means that everyone here is under that link. The major benefit of this is evenly distribution and completion of every level. It's okay to say I want to use my link. Or ask why should I use this link after I have gotten my one down-lines. The reason is, while you're busy promoting your link, you will have holes in different level and not all legs will be completely filled up. And thus you will have delayed in upgrade and payout. That's why we are building as one unit. The system is created in a way that only one down-lines is needed to qualify, to receive all earnings. All others enrollment you do, are spilled

Hameed Ali dares Senate: Why I will not wear uniform

04:03
The Senate presided over by Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has walked Comptroller-General of Customs, Hammed Ali, out of the Chambers for not wearing uniform. His appearance was sequel to the Senate resolution that he “appear in Customs uniform” to brief the Senate on the proposed car import duties. Hameed Ali who appeared in white kaftan with cap to match having been admitted into the Chambers was immediately reminded on the resolution that he was expected to appear in uniform “Distinguished Senators, you recall that there a resolution yesterday that the Comptroller-Generalof Customs appear before the Senate in Uniform”, Ekweremadu said. He however, submitted that there was no law compelling him to wear uniform, particularly as a former Military officer, adding that car import duties policy has also been suspended for now. “Mr. President, Distinguished Senators, I received the letter to appear before you in Uniform, but I have seen from the point of law, that am not bound to wear Customs uniform. More so, we have decided to suspend car import duties for now”, Ali said. Senator Bala Ibn N’allah in his reference to Acts establishing the Nigeria Customs Service insisted that he must appear in Uniform. Contributing, Senator Jibrin Barau said, it was clear in the command and control of Customs Service that uniform is sacrosanct, suggesting that he should be asked to go and get his uniform before addressing the Senate next time. Senator Ali Wakili, a former Customs officer, described as needless, grandstanding between the Senate and the Customs on point of uniform, urging that he should be allowed to mediate particularly as ‘amicus curae’ of the Customs. “Mr. President, Distinguished Colleagues, as a former Customs officer and now a Senator, I will always strike a balance between my position now and then. To borrow a word from lawyers, I am anamicus curae of Customs, I want the Senate to allow me mediate”, Wakili maintained. Senators George Sekibo, Barnabas Gemade were unanimous on the issue of uniform. While advising the CG, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu noted that as number one, he ought to live by example, sustaining the motion that he should appear Wednesday next week in uniform

Home Equity: Why Financially Free Beats Debt Free - Ep. #163

46:58
Financially-Free Beats Debt-Free. You hear me say it all the time. Home equity is a terrible investment - it is unsafe, illiquid, has zero ROI, makes your foreclosure risk greater, and it can leave your assets exposed to lawsuits. Some have called today’s material shocking - a revelation. What you thought was black is white. What you thought was dark is light. Home equity can never go up in value, but might go down value. You must embrace mortgages. I collect mortgages every bit as much as I collect cash-flowing properties. I practice what I preach and only keep 15% equity in my primary residence, and minimum equity positions in investment properties. You would be better off burying money in your backyard than using it to pay down your mortgage. In the 1920s, a common clause in bank loan agreements stated that your loan could be called due at any time. That created fear which still resonates today. But it’s no longer true; banks won’t call your mortgage loan due anytime. 30-year vs. 15-year vs. interest-only mortgage loans are examined. Homes are not meant to store cash, they’re meant to house families. Holding too much equity in any one property can kill your wealth potential. If you want wealth, you need to consider dispersing your home equity among many income-producing properties across different geographies. Want more wealth? 1) Grab my free E-book and Newsletter at: GetRichEducation.com/Book 2) Actionable turnkey real estate investing opportunity: GREturnkey.com 3) Read my new, best-selling paperback: getbook.at/7moneymyths Listen to this week’s show and learn: 01:37 Eliminating debt often postpones your financial freedom. 04:05 In the 1920s, a common clause in bank loan agreements stated that your loan could be called due at any time. That’s no longer true. 07:23 Paying off debt prevents you from accumulating assets. 08:48 Liquidity, safety, and rate of return are three reasons for keeping a high mortgage loan balance. 11:35 Why your foreclosure risk is greater if you have a high equity position. 16:33 Natural disasters. 19:56 Getting sued, asset protection. 21:40 The ROI from home equity is always zero. 26:15 Cash-out refinances and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges. 28:12 Be your own banker. Create arbitrage. 29:00 30-year vs. 15-year fixed rate amortizing vs. interest-only loans. 30:42 Another example of home equity providing zero ROI and being unsafe. 33:04 Enjoy collecting mortgages. Equity transfers. 34:37 Those with less financial education want to pay off their properties. 36:55 Outsource lower use tasks. 38:56 Control. 40:04 Mortgage payments vs. housing payments. 42:27 A house is not an asset. 43:58 Act at RidgeLendingGroup.com for loans, GREturnkey.com for properties. Resources Mentioned: GREturnkey.com RidgeLendingGroup.com CorporateDirect.com GetRichEducation.com Here. It. Is. Hey, Welcome to Episode 163 of Get Rich Education - the show that at this point has created more passive income and financial freedom for busy people like you than nearly any other show in the world. I’m Keith Weinhold. Your financial forecast is going to be looking sunnier than ever after today. I’ll tell you why. But you know what, your open mind might very well find the content in today’s show shocking. Some people have believed the same old antiquated thing for so long, that they figure that the notion that has been believed for so long MUST absolutely be true - merely because it’s been believed for a long time. Yes, just because you’ve believed something for a long time, doesn’t make it true. It’s sort of like - I think Yoda even said it - “You must unlearn what you have learned”. A lot of times you need to unlearn the old before you’ve made room for new ideas. Eliminating your debt can actually postpone your financial freedom. You need to form both the habits and the actions that produce income streams. Well, you can’t very well do that if you put your money toward retiring debt. Focusing too much on becoming debt-free means that your money is being sent away to retire. That’s why you can’t retire. You can’t retire - or be financially-free - because you’ve sent your money away to retire - rather than work for you. If you could invest in something that could never go up in value but could only go down in value, then how much of that invest would you want? Well, zero - right? We’re intelligent people that invest for the production of income, not speculate on a hope for capital gains. The investment that can never go up in value but can only go down in value is home equity - or even your rental...
